1 /5 KaseyHeartsYouu: i hesitated for months leaving this review because the first few times nicole did my hair i loved how it came out. but i kept having issues with my shadow root going yellow which looked awful with my platinum blonde, so nicole used a permanent color for my shadow root. the next time i went in for a touch up she couldn’t remove the permanent color from the previous shadow root, and she didn’t have time to process it again to remove it. i told her i trusted her to do what was best, which was a huge mistake. she took my shadow root all the way down to where the leftover shadow root was, leaving my hair looking like it hadn’t been touched up at all, and it was yellow which was the one thing i didn’t want. after a couple days of crying about how much i hated my hair, my mother and i spent two days and $600 color correcting my hair at another salon, and nicole was made aware and did not offer an apology or a refund. my mom had been going to her for years, and me for almost two and we will never go back, and i have told friends i had previously recommended to nicole and to the salon in general to find somewhere else to go. my hair was so healthy and now the damage from the color correction has my ends breaking and i will be going back to my natural brown sooner than intended because of this. the girls at my new salon told me they would have never let me leave with hair looking like this and don’t know why anyone would ever use permanent color for something like a shadow root. this happened in april, a week before an important event i wanted my hair to look good for, and i had traveled from tallahassee specifically for this appointment, only for my hair to look like this. photos are the day after my hair was done by nicole.
