    • Sandsprit Park - Stuart Stephen White: After a trip to see the Banyan tree tunnels in the area, we decided to stop to see if we could see any manatees. We did not but we enjoyed the park and the local wildlife. Theres plenty here for everyone from river access, fishing, photography, walking, and areas for kids to play. Theres also plenty of parking for cars and trucks with boat trailers.
    Joes River Park - Stuart G Griff: Small road side park with boardwalk to boat and fishing dock. Parking for about 10 cars. Picnic shelter. Dedicated to a local teen.
    Twin Rivers Park - Stuart Atlas/ DeLaPaz: The park is vary nice good for walking fishing or a picnic with the family. The park is clean too.
    Hosford Park - Stuart Jason Burchard: Good kayaking down the St Lucie river. To the island and back is about two hours and no tough current to paddle against.
    Stuart Art Festival - Stuart Fisco’s Flicks: Downtown Stuart, where charm meets beauty, where art, culture, and waterfront views meet that highlights the town’s cultural attractions.
    Paradox Museum Miami - Miami Fritz Javel: A really great museum, lots of fun and the staff are there at times to help you understand the illusions. However the museum is showing its age in a lot of ways. Some things don’t work, while objects are removed from some wall displays causing the experience to be a bit hampered. Still really cool and fair priced.
    Miami Seaquarium - Miami Yalitza Rosario: The seaquarium is a place you can go with family and friends. We had a pretty good time there. I recommend buying the tickets online to avoid the line, also you could find discounts in some apps if you have time to call for reservations beforehand. Also, it is best to arrive early so you can enjoy all the shows. The place is big enough and you will be better off if you wear comfortable shoes. The only thing I didnt like was that you needed to move from one place to another to see the shows. It will be best if they make it in some kind of circle order. It was just too much back and forward. Other than that it is a good place to go and enjoy a good time with family washing the sea lion and dolphin shows. I also find it interesting that there is childrens cars parking. Regarding Parking for your car is $20 in cash or card.
    Jungle Island - Miami Karol Teal: My bestie and I loved walking around discovering the unique displays in this World of Enchantment. The colors are so vibrant and striking! We thoroughly enjoyed how we were outside in nature seeing these structures amongst the living trees; finding lizards warming themselves on the lanterns was a treat! We were a smidge late for the show which was quick, cute and Asian- which I’m assuming was the tie-in with the lanterns. Kudos to the great bar woman, serving up the cocktails! It’s hard to pick a favorite display. I will say I really loved the dragons.
    Phillip & Patricia Frost Museum of Science - Miami Rana El-Zughbi: The Frost Science Museum in Miami is absolutely amazing! It’s huge and packed with fascinating exhibits for all ages. From the planetarium and aquarium to the hands-on science displays, there’s something exciting around every corner. It’s a perfect place for the whole family to explore—kids and adults alike will find plenty to enjoy and learn from. We easily spent the entire day there and still felt like there was more to see. Highly recommend making this an all-day outing if you’re in Miami. Educational, fun, and well worth the visit!
    Lummus Park - Miami Beach Aashita Gupta: I absolutely loved Lummus Park! It’s one of those rare places that feels magical both during the day and at night. During the afternoon, the park is vibrant with palm trees, open spaces, and the stunning Miami Beach backdrop—it’s perfect for relaxing walks, people-watching, or just soaking up the sun. At night, the atmosphere completely transforms. When we visited, there was a concert happening, which added an incredible energy to the place. The lights, the music, and the lively crowd made it feel like the heart of Miami’s nightlife—but still chill and inviting. It’s such a pretty spot whether you want to enjoy some live music or just take a peaceful stroll under the stars. What I really loved about Lummus Park is how it blends nature, beach vibes, and community spirit all in one place. Whether you’re there to unwind, snap amazing photos, or enjoy local events, it has a welcoming and fun vibe that stays with you. Rating: 5/5 – A must-visit spot that’s beautiful, lively, and full of Miami’s charm any time of day or night.
