St Rose of Lima Catholic Church - Kissimmee (FL)

4 /5 Sandy: Good Friday Mass in Kissimmee. This was not far from when I stayed. It was packed. The mass was also on a television and provided good visibility for worshippers at the back. The church had the Veneration of the Cross and body of Christ. It was a lovely mass and happy to see a lot of people came out. Outside was a table set for the last supper. I am thinking it was for a reenactment of the last super.

2 /5 Adriana RG: Every catholic church is a bless. This is just an observation from my perspective: it feels like a musical. The whole mass is sing!!!! In my humble opinion there is a lack of reverence.

1 /5 Falcon Moon: My first visit there was not a nice one and will never go back. As I was parking my e-bike at the bike rack after the service had begun and was about to walk in the greeter told me I had to move my bike from the bike rack so other people could walk past my bike which was total nonsense because the bike rack was in a semi corner out of the way of pedestrians. I told him I will leave then he said Good leave. As I was leaving I wondered where exactly did he want me to park my e-bike and I dont feel that is any way for a church to invite new people to the congregation so I talked to him about it again which led into voices being raised and me being told I had to leave. This incident left a very sour taste in my mouth and I refuse to conform to ridiculous demands from control freaks so I shall not be returning to this church

1 /5 Pray for the world: I went to midnight mass on Christmas everything the mass has an ordinary order but I have issues to understand the priest when he was trying to speak Spanish or English so cant understand the homily. The coir was a little to loudly for a mass but the sing beautiful. By the end of the mass the priest decided to bring children dancing by the end of the mass and it is very sad the priest dont understand how holly is de mass, that we in presence of God and the mass is not circus where he entertain people, and it was like in Calvary during crucifixion of Jesus we have dancers celebrating. I understand people dont understand this concept but this is a reality. This kind of priest doesnt deserve any money in the basket. Our mass is not protestant service if they want to present art they can organize an event after mas in different salon, please dont give any money to support this kind of priest with out faith.
