I dropped almost $1000 on hair extensions to battle the postpartum hair loss, and the studio couldnāt follow through and put them in throughout the life of the hair. They could not refund me for them, and then other stylists Iāve shown them to were appalled at how different the extensions were from my own hair and said it would be really hard to make them work. Not only could they not own up to the mistake, but they couldnāt fix it, and blamed it on me. I knew nothing of extensions previously, and completely trusted the studio. I had an enjoyable time there, and really like the staff. However, postpartum hair is pretty terrible and uncertainā on top of the sad, and stressful hair loss, my stylist wasnāt willing to understand or help me work through the changes. I had hoped that such an expensive purchase and returning so often for maintenance would at least earn a little respect for my investment.
