PHI Eco Salon - Jacksonville Beach Maryclare Krusing: Phi Eco has been cutting and coloring my hair for well over a year. Carissa, the owner, is by far one of the best haircutters I have ever had as she understands hair texture and knows how to cut any type of hair but especially difficult coarse textures, long hair, and super wavy hair. She understands and performs highly effective layering which maximizes the fullness of the hair and the hair after her cuts seems to lay perfect wash after wash. Moreover, she understands the effects of the salt air and humidity on ones hair and is able to enhance the natural wave of the hair in spite of the elements. Carissa is a must see hair professional. Her entire staff is excellent. Her product line is from Italy and is incredibly gentle and effective for all hair types. The scalp massage which accompanies the hair conditioning is absolutely superb. Phi Eco is a must recommend salon.
HAIR CO - Pensacola Amber McTier: I had an amazing experience with Marissa! She did a flawless job blending my roots and covering grays while achieving the perfect “old money blonde” look. Her attention to detail in coloring is unmatched, but what really sets her apart is that she’s just as talented with haircuts—mine turned out absolutely perfect! If you’re looking for someone who truly understands both color and style, Marissa is the one to see. Highly recommend!
Pensacola Hair Shop - Pensacola Jennifer Rodriguez: I recently moved to the area and was in search of a stylist who could refresh my inverted bob. I walked in feeling a bit nervous, as this particular haircut can be quite challenging to get right. He took the time to listen carefully to my needs and concerns, asking insightful questions about my hair texture and desired look. Aarons expertise really shone through as he skillfully shaped my hair, ensuring that the angles were just right and that I maintained the essence of my original style. The end result was fantastic—my haircut turned out beautifully. Im so glad I found Aaron and will definitely be returning for my future haircuts. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled stylist!
Strut Salon & Skin - Bayou - Pensacola SpencerZoe Bonter: We had the best experience with Aliza for my daughter’s first haircut! My daughter was very nervous and Aliza was so patient, loving, and accommodating. She took her time to explain everything she was doing and even let her sit in my lap as she cut her hair. It turned out so cute! When she was done, they added tinsel and glitter and my daughter left so happy. Couldn’t have asked for a better first experience for her!
Bloom Luxury Salon Studios - Pensacola Christy W: This review is not against the salon because the salon is great with everyone having their own space but this is to the person who messed up my hair, tried to fix it and when I sent pics showing it was still messed up she blocked me. I’m not naming any names because I’m not that type of person but you know who you are. You don’t mess up someone’s hair and then block them! You knew I just moved here and you were the first person I found to do my hair. You completely changed the color of my hair from what it was. You left black spots all throughout. I paid you $130 plus paid you another $20 the day you tried fixing it and told you to grab some lunch. That is NOT good customer service. I honestly didn’t think you were that type of person but I hope this truly makes you think about what you did. Again this is not against the salon. It’s beautiful and I’m sure there are plenty of great stylist there. The 4 stars is for the salon and not the person…
Salon On The Avenue - Pensacola La Reina: Been using this salon for awhile and was very happy, until I got extensions for the first time 3 1/2 weeks ago. Within 24 hours, my extension started falling out, so I told the stylist what had happened and she could care less. I told her to schedule me in to make sure my extensions were good because they should not have been falling out as much as they did, but she never scheduled me and insisted that she was weeks out booked. Within the week, my scalp started to itch pretty bad and I was told this was supposed to be Belami hair. I brush my hair every single day and use average shampoo and conditioner, and do not do any other products. I lost over 13 K tip extensions within 3 weeks. The stylist kept claiming that it was because of my lack of brushing and products that caused tension alopecia and dreading to my hair. Which is completely wrong because I brush my hair every single day, every day. I could not take the tangles and pain anymore so I decided to go to Alabama to get my hair done. It took five stylists and two hours to completely remove all of my extensions. They said I have tension alopecia and lost a lot of my hair, they said they did notice I brush every day, that the stylist applied it wrong completely, and I was having serious rashes from whatever the glue was. This is highly disappointing and I even asked for a refund, but no refund was given. So basically, I paid to get this done to me. Never again will I go here.
