I chose this salon from many after much research to dfund a master cut stylist and Elisa kept popping up. I original went to make an appt with Elisa to give me a good cut an style, she not only literally is a master stylist but in every sense and she has the best aura. Services are not inexpensive but worth every penny!

Pam has given me the best highlights I have ever had and I lived in NYC and South Beach. I walk in there feeling not so hot and leave there feeling gorgeous. Try Pam for great style and color, she’s the best!

5 /5 Jenni Fortier: I had a bad experience at a different salon a few months back and moved to Fort Lauderdale and had Sullo recommended to me from someone who had their hair rescued from previous disasters at different salons so I knew I was in the right place. Having blonde hair can always be risky and I sometimes has a time length, hair stylist cannot always perform miracles. I thought I would have to get a baliage to ween myself from being blonde which made me sad. But the lovely receptionist had fully understood where I was at and recommended me to their blonde specialist Heather. Heather was a absolute blessing and earned my trust immediately and she ensured me that I could fulfill my blonde dreams again. She has a wealth of knowledge and and experience and was so much fun to talk to as well. Her assistant working under her was attentive and kind and also did an amazing job learning along the way. We did all the conditioning treatments and they were very attentive to detail and the health of my hair, and clearly communicated answered all my questions. They literally performed a miracle in my eyes. I really enjoyed the energy of this whole Salon and would definitely recommend 20/10 to all the blondies out there that you will be in great hands. I had walked out of there feeling like a Goddess and it has changed my confidence. I will definitely be going back without question.

2 /5 Dana Kantrowitz: Friendly staff and stylists, but two times they didnt listen to what I asked for. I told the colorist I dont want red. I just wanted to cover the grey in my light brown hair -- and it came out copper. Thankfully, she corrected it on my second visit. I saw a different stylist for a haircut only. I asked him for a trim and said I dont want to lose much length from my med-length layered bob. "Just clean it up." He gave me an entirely different shape (def. not a bob) and a significantly shorter cut. I told him I havent had my hair this short in years, and he pushed back, saying he cut barely anything off and this looks better on me.

I’ve never dyed my hair outside of the brown honey-brown and blonde tones, so I was a little uncertain coming into things. Yovanna helped me decide on what two shades of red might suit me and while I originally asked for a certain dye style, she suggested another (due to the kind of cut I wanted, showed me pictures, and voilà!). And while the color has faded slightly, I’m still pretty happy with what it’s turned into! As for the cut, just spectacular. I handed her a reference photo and she was able to replicate it with a few tiny adjustments to better accommodate my face shape and curl pattern and here we are! Pricing was fair and the salon itself was in great shape. The staff are all so friendly and really made me feel welcomed and as beautiful as can be walking out of there! Definitely would return. Update: Went back for a more vibrant color and of course Yovanna did a great job once again!

Rhonda Zorman: This place is a TEN! I have gone to multiple salons all over South Florida, but have settled on Over the Edge for the past couple years. I started with Camille doing my nails, then added her facials. She is personable and does a beautiful job on both. I’ve used all the nail girls, they are all great. I feel confident they are not cutting corners and use good sterile technique. I have also started having my hair done. For years I have been unhappy with my hair, then found Linda. She actually listened to me and my hair is exactly what I wanted. My hair is foiled. She is very methodical in her technique, which I love. So many hair dressers have rush through doing my hair so I ended up with big blobs of weird shades of blonde, and rarely would do a true full highlight. Not Linda! With her you get a true full highlight. She also did even, fine strands of blonde that I have searched and searched to find. Plus she corrected my other that was not highlighted. All for a great price. All staff is friendly and warm, and you can tell they have all worked together for years. Very little staff turn over that says a lot about the place. Also very professional and knowledgeable about the latest trends and products, but never get the hard sell. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!!

Nothing about my experience stood out. The ladies in there hardly smiled or spoke not to mention it was hot in there. I won’t be going back, I don’t care if they only charge 2cents. Don’t let those 4+ stars fool you!

Amanda Arencibia: I would like to share my experience at Phenix Salon Suites Hollywood, I go to Brows & Beyond by Jen unfortunately each time I have gone to her to relax and enjoy my services the business owner next door #106 is obnoxiously loud and not considerate that other people are trying to run a business. I was there for almost 2 hours and it was non stop laughing super loud. I understand you can be talking amongst yourselves but is there a need to be so loud when you know other people are working and the suites are so close together. Jen does such an excellent job that I keep coming back even with the loud inconsiderate neighbors. You guys should really rethink who you rent to as this will run off business for other business owners and yourselves. Hope you guys read this review and consider doing something about it.

Summer Abdelmottlib: Monique, the hairdresser, is the real rockstar here. I visited her today for the first time for a haircut, and the experience was fantastic. Parking was very easy to find, and it’s a quick drive if you live in Hollywood, which is super convenient. During the consultation, she took the time to go through everything I was looking for, repeating my ideas back to me to ensure she understood exactly what I wanted. It was so reassuring to feel truly heard. The wash was amazing. Relaxing and thorough, and the haircut turned out exactly as I had imagined. She nailed every detail I asked for and even thoughtfully suggested taking another half-inch off the back, which I appreciated. I felt so comfortable with Monique and could tell she genuinely cared about me and my hair. I’ll definitely be coming back and look forward to continuing my hair journey with her. I highly recommend Monique to anyone searching for a professional, knowledgeable, and kind hairstylist in Hollywood!
