2 /5 Adam Duckworth: Tried it out this Sunday and I dont think Ill be back. The worship music was phenomenal and the sanctuary was all glitzy for sure... but not one single person went out of their way to welcome my family and me. Usually, I would not find that a big deal (Im not thinking Im so important that people should talk to me or anything) but I did find it a little off putting in this instance for two reasons. a) I went up to the connection table where two ladies were just talking to themselves. When I looked at a pamphlet for a beat too long one just said "Do you have any questions?" making me feel like I was inconveniencing them and 2) the whole sermon was put on by their connection director that day and it was about connecting with the community... which, in my opinion, it felt like they were failing at that.
It just seemed very unfriendly to new people.
