2 /5 Brandon Freeman: Lets just say this was a wild and untamed area. It may have been the time I visited (Saturday afternoon) but the place had trash overflowing and blowing across the beach. Parking was a nightmare and the audience was less than friendly, courteous or respectful. The beach itself is quite thin with having driving lanes and the hotel/Park walls backing up to the beach and also. During high tide there is very little space. Best to find a different beach if youTr looking for a little space and tranquility.

5 /5 Crimson Rose: This ocean front beach is beautiful. Its family friendly, although I do not know if it is pet friendly. I am from out of town, and I got to see the ocean for the first time in over a decade from this location. Pictures do not do it justice. There is parking available, and it is handicap accessible. This may also be a good surfing spot, as I see a lot of surfers in the early mornings. I highly recommend visiting. There are tables available for rent along the beach or you can bring your own. There is also a playground.

5 /5 Clark Ammons: Beautiful area to stand and watch the sunrise on the Atlantic coast here in Daytona Beach, Thanksgiving morning, along with a 3k run that started 2 hours later, really nice, kid friendly place to spend time there.

The area is often overcrowded, especially on weekends, and parking can be a real challenge with so many cars packed in. While the park itself has some nice features like a splash pad and beachfront access, the overall experience feels more hectic than enjoyable. Not the ideal spot if youre hoping for a peaceful beach visit.

5 /5 Sharkey Drummond: Bloody Awesome experience. We visited quite a few different locations this year for vacation. Free parking and lots to do. Shirt and ice cream stores side by side were perfection in the heat. Even saw a guy with a shark he had caught before he put him back.

Britany Tourigian: I had a wonderful time at Daytona Lagoon, which offers something for all ages. My daughter particularly enjoyed the lazy river and the kids area. I felt completely safe knowing that the lifeguards were keeping a close eye on all the children. The amusement park has done an excellent job training them. We hardly had to wait long for the water park rides. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I cant wait to plan a trip to go back.

TOY PARKS: Daytona is a fun beach for tourists. It has an arcade and shopping for beachwear and souvenirs. There are restaurants and hotels. Sometimes its Bikers week, sometimes its spring break, but its always a fun time. These are pictures from different times, and I have many more.

Murfam Post LLC: Nice exhibit, layout is navigable, staff is helpful and friendly. Can take from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Pricing is a bit steep, however those aquariums are expensive to maitain.

Riverfront Park - Daytona Beach

Peter Berman: Beautifully laid out. Great walking path. BUT, every few yards, there are speakers and music is played over all of them the entire park. So, a beautiful peaceful park has this music blaring when it should be quiet so you can enjoy the beautiful views. If you want music, bring your own with earphones

Breakers Oceanfront Park - Daytona Beach

SB Khan: Found parking right away. Such a beautiful beach but management here is horrible. No toilet tissue in ladies bathroom. Trash everywhere and we saw some homeless people along the beach front as well. It’s a popular spot and well worthy of visiting but lacks cleanliness. We were so lucky to see manatees. The wildlife is beautiful and you will see so many birds along the shore. There are a lot of activities and fun things to do. We were short handed on time so we only spent a few hours.

Cici and Hyatt Brown Museum of Art - Daytona Beach

Mary Lando: The Daytona Museum of Art & Science is simply marvelous!! My husband & I spent several hours there taking in the beautiful works of art that are on display at this lovely facility. We especially enjoyed the special Audubon exhibit at the Cici & Hyatt Brown Gallery. It was so informative & wonderfully displayed; a real treat for bird lovers! We plan to return again to visit the planetarium which we didnt have time to see on this visit. We were so impressed with this great place that we purchased an annual membership.
