1 /5 Emma francone: The first month started off great! Everyone was so nice and my son was enjoying daycare. Then, they started forgetting to give my son his inhalers. After I brought this up, they told me they would log every time they gave it to him. That lasted a week. Next, my son came home in socks that werent his. Then, he got bit. He was NEVER violent and had never kicked, hit or bit a kid before. He got bit, kicked or pinched (with bruising lasting days) EVERY single day for 3 weeks. The director was ok about it and said she was be providing training for her teachers. Others were not so nice, making excuses and saying "thats what toddlers do". After viewing video footage it looks as if its the same kid hurting him every day and nothing is happening to this kid. He comes home with a crusty nose every day and marks on his body. Im extremely disappointed in this daycare and their inability to take action when Ive expressed my concerns for my son every single day. There is only 6 kids per teacher
So Im wondering why my son keeps getting hurt EVERY single day. Maybe its because of the teachers reading novels while they are supposed to be caring for children (I noticed this, reported it and nothing was done) I only recommend this daycare if you like to pick up your toddler with an accident report and excuse EVERY single day :)
Update: Little ones learning academy told me 15 minutes before I was to be at work that my son was no longer a good fit for their daycare. What happened to giving prior notice? I spoke with the president of this establishment on the phone. She said they can do whatever they want and even started to raise her voice at me. Extremely unprofessional president (Felicia), director (Misty) and managers(Cyndal and Ashley)- they raise their voices, roll their eyes and huff under their breath at you.
