5 /5 Anna: Came for the cats and had a lovely little tour. Arrived around 4 p.m. with enough time for the tour and a quick saunter around with the cats. Never have I met such chill chats—they all had the loveliest temperaments and lounged around the property. We joined a tour with Rob, who was knowledgeable and humorous. Worth exploring the beautiful house and grounds! They were setting up for a wedding, and it looked like a gorgeous space for an event.

5 /5 Darra Sargent: We had a great experience at the Hemingway house! As soon as you get in the gates the gardens are beautiful and full of cats! They were truly everywhere. We went inside and then the inside of the home was beautiful. Everything was original and that was great to see. You would think that it would smell like cat inside but it did not. They said they use the restroom outside. All of the cats were super friendly, most of them were sleeping. Would definitely recommend as something to do in key west! You cannot bring a stroller inside though so be advised of that.

These cats are living their best lives - and are so loved. If you have time, you have to give these kitties some love!

5 /5 Shawn Todd: Incredible tour. Our tour guide Rob from Maine, was the perfect guide to let us in on a bit more about Hemingway & this property. I wasnt a big Hemingway fan before going, but knew enough about him to think this may be an interesting tour. It was fantastic. My spouse and I both left understanding Hemingway in a different way than we did before (thanks Rob!), and really enjoyed the look into Hemingway and his life in Key West, Cuba, his many life enjoyments, and enjoyed great stories about his pool, his last penny, and the 52 cats. Quite a place & definitely worth a stop on your Key West vacation

5 /5 DJ AJ Falcon: What an interesting attraction this is! I have visited Key West many times before, but never got around to visiting this historic popular attraction until this visit. It was built by Asa Tift who made a fortune with shipwrecked vessels in the early 1800s. I was in Key West to be a destination wedding DJ&MC, and glad I stopped in! Highly recommend you visit this charming landmark!

The Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory - Key West

trent worden: I brought my gorgeous and totally real girlfriend with me for a look at the bug life. I am glad we did. The price was like 17 a person and we were allowed to go through several times. The abundant butterflies are in a constant movement and it’s a real joy to watch. They also have some flamingoes and tortoises. An eclectic group of life that really sets a mood. I would recommend coming through and giving it a try.

John Smith III: If you’re looking for a quiet, balanced and zen place, please give Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Gardens. On the day we went there was NO crowds, zero waiting to got inside very quickly. The grounds are immaculate, and truly make the space so beautiful. The staff was really friendly, courteous and welcoming. There is a playground, and so many fun, educational things for kiddos of all ages to do. If you’re looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of life, please check out Key West Tropical Forest. Enjoy!

The Kapok Tree - Key West

Grace Renken: This is an incredible tree. I loved the sign they had in front that told you the history. Its a quick visit but very cool especially if you are a nature person! Pictures dont do it justice! There were a few people on the sidewalks but overall not busy at all for photographs

Yardley OFlaherty: Let me start by saying the communication with staff before I booked was amazing via text message. All my questions were answered in a timely manner and very welcoming. Any expectations I had of this experience before coming in went above and beyond. Dan filled us with lots of really cool history along paranormal stories and his experiences, while Eric being there to assist and gave us the tools needed for our experience. Both were super nice and really just easy to talk with and never made me feel silly about my experience in any way. While I didn’t get to tell them everything, they were both ready willing to help and talk in any way. I was very surprised by the outcome. Robert, while his presence and story is no doubt an experience in itself, he is what you make him to be. I’ll leave it at that. The Fort alone is another animal entirely. Worth the trip and money. It is something I will never forget. Thanks for an amazing evening!

Lenny Artascos: We love visiting lighthouses in our travels, the Key West lighthouse with its history and museum is a must-see stop when you go to The Conch Republic. Tickets have discounts for military, seniors, first responders and active duty! Five star 360 view cannot be beat.

Key West Aquarium - Key West

Drew Wally: The staff are very friendly, informative and knowledgeable. The history of the aquarium is presented well and they have sea turtles and the local marine life on display. If vacationing in the area I would highly recommend going and seeing this attraction. They have everything from sea turtles to nurse sharks and the staff run shows nearly hourly.

Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center - Key West

Kellina Pinar: The Florida Keys Eco-Discovery Center is a fantastic place to visit! This free informational center is packed with interactive displays and tons of fascinating information about coral reefs, local wildlife, and the important work being done to protect and restore these vital ecosystems. It’s amazing to see how the center collaborates with key agencies and programs to drive these efforts. Walking through the exhibits was an engaging and educational experience, with plenty of cool displays to explore. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast or just curious about the underwater world, this center offers a wonderful opportunity to learn and be inspired. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Truman Little White House - Naval Air Station Key West

DJ AJ Falcon: Very interesting landmark that was the occasional residence of one of the most underrated presidents of the 20th century. You realize how important he was after taking the informative guided tour. I was in Key West to be destination wedding DJ&MC, and glad I stopped in after a recommendation from one of the guides at another nearby attraction. Take the guided tour that I believe leaves at the top and bottom of the hour. The gift shop is also very nice with a variety of merchandise at different price points. There could be better information provided on parking arrangements. The closest garage is the Opal Resort right next door, which is a little pricey, and they charge you for a full additional hour even if you go over by one minute. We parked at nearby Truman Waterfront Park, which is a bit of a walk, but also a scenic, hidden gem worth visiting. I enjoyed my visit here and you will too!

Lindsey A. Thomson Heberlein: Worth the visit! Very interesting. I was expecting a bit more focus on the ships and where each piece came from. A lot of items not related to his finds. African slave trade museum is upstairs. Mostly silver from the ships, coins, some cool jewelry. You can’t buy authentic coins there, just reproductions. Would have been nice to focus more on the ships than a general American history.

Yankee Freedom- Dry Tortugas National Park Museum - Key West

Anders Wahlqvist: Calm small museum, not too much to see but a nice quick stop when visiting Key West. The girl attending the small exhibit was nice, polite and pretty. She also made a nice drawing that has nothing to do with the exhibit.
