3 /5 Gwen Herman: I only visit this salon when Iām in a pinch for a manicure or pedicure. My regular nail tech is in Boca, but since moving to Fort Lauderdale, Iāve tried this franchise a few times. While the nail techs are talented and offer a variety of services, there are some concerns that prevent me from fully recommending it.
The main issue is their lack of itemized receipts, which is a basic expectation for transparency. Additionally, the management can be unprofessional. On one visit, I booked a French dip manicure for my birthday, but the results were cloudy and didnāt resemble a French style. The nail tech worked to fix it with a gel top coat, but the manager made an unnecessary comment that left a bad impression.
To provide context, my prior visit was in August for my graduation. I received a full set of gel extensions and a pedicure, and the total came to nearly $400, which was shocking. Since then, Iāve made an effort to clearly communicate my preferences to avoid surprises.
While the nail techs are skilled and the services are decent, the lack of transparency and unprofessional management bring the experience down.
