5 /5 ESSENCE RUSSELL- WHITE: Great place. I suggest going early to get a good seat and reserve rides in advance because the popular rides do fill fast when the park opens. Or reserve a Cabana. They are on the expensive side of $800, but well worth it. You get early admission, a server, and a cute little welcome basket. They do give you a drink and food menu with food that you cant get in the park, but our server will go anywhere in the park to get any drink or any food that you would like. It has a mini fridge with bottles of cold water and a safe in the cabana. It also has a personal totem to select and reserve rides right in the cabana, so you dont have to tap at each attraction. PLUS, with the cabana rental, you get early access to the park at 9 am. The park opens at 10. Times may vary per season. With any park or water park, you have teens and young adults who dont pay attention to older people, babies, and toddlers. So be careful of that. My 2-year-old granddaughter was almost knocked underwater a few times by kids and teens crossing over people without looking. Good thing they provide life jackets of all sizes. All the rides are fun, but the volcano drop slide will give you a concussion. Your head bangs on the tube quite a bit, which leaves you with a headache. The only bad thing I would say about this park is that the entrances to the rides are very confusing. The entrances are not clearly marked, but you do see the exit signs marked. You have multiple ride entrances, in one place. The water coaster seats 4 but goes by weight. You have to step on a scale for the employee to direct you to which seat to sit. Must be under a certain weight to ensure the ride runs properly.

4 /5 Erika: First time at Volcano Bay. Purchased tickets online. It was a group of 6. Tickets were priced reasonably considering I went Memorial Day Weekend. Parking was about $35-40. The shuttle drops you off at main entrance. We arrived before opening. We were there at 10 when it opened. I did notice beach chairs did fill up quickly. But I also noticed they have different areas to lounge with the chairs throughout the park. I didn’t like the food options felt like it wasn’t much to choose from. The steak tacos weren’t that good. Alcoholic beverages were priced reasonably for it to be a theme park. The drink did come in a souvenir cup. The longest wait time I experienced was 100 minutes for the roller coaster. I love how they have the watches so you’re not wasting time in line and you can do other things while waiting.

5 /5 Stephaniea Rodriguez: Came here during Volcano Bay Nights. Had a blast with friends. There was barely any wait times except for the ride that’s inside the volcano. I truly enjoyed the park later in the day and at night since the sun wasn’t too hot. I definitely recommend doing volcano bay nights and to buy tickets in advance!! They will sell out quickly. It is a seasonal event but you have the whole park to yourself after a certain time.

5 /5 A Knee: Love love love this water park! So much available for both adults and children. There were plenty of places to sit and relax and more than enough incredible water rides to enjoy! They do have you wear a band around your wrist that checks you into each ride and allows you to be put on a wait list for longer wait listed rides. Very convenient as you can then enjoy the other water rides in the meantime rather than wait in a long line. Brilliant! And no extra fee for the wrist band.

4 /5 B: This is a fun water park! The rides aren’t huge apart from about 3-4 thrill rides. The trap door slides are so great and definitely worth the queue. The virtual queue system is among the best I’ve ever seen, you can tap into a queue virtually and then it ticks down on your watch. We did this for the aqua coaster which made things much easier. My watch stopped working at some point which was disappointing, but staff were super helpful and got me back into the virtual queue on a new watch.
