Ursula Thompson: Wonderful tour! Learned such powerful history about Lawrence B Brown, a man born into slavery in 1856, but used his God-given gifts to break from the oppression and spread his wings ! Ms Patricia was our guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and made the tour very pleasant and enjoyable.

Mike Mike: Barnett Family Park is a great place for kids to play! The splash pad is a fun way to cool off, and there’s a separate play area for younger children (up to age 5), which was open when we visited. Unfortunately, the bigger playground was under construction. Overall, it’s a nice, family-friendly park with plenty of space for kids to run around and have fun! Public bathroom was available.

City Gov’t, Non-Profits & Citizens of Lakeland have worked tirelessly to bring this Space up to an Event Area that’s Attractive, Useful & Safe! It has been greatly since we moved here 17 or so yrs. ago. Merchants on the Square & DRA have worked well together! A weekly highlight is the FARMER’s Market, Every Saturday except during August!

Francisco Gasia: Sure! Here’s a short review in English emphasizing the F-14: ⸻ I recently visited the Florida Air Museum and had a fantastic experience. The exhibits are well-curated and offer a great mix of aviation history and hands-on displays. But by far, the most impressive part of the visit was seeing a real F-14 Tomcat up close. Standing next to such an iconic aircraft was absolutely surreal — it’s a must-see for any aviation enthusiast. Highly recommended!
