1 /5 Haydon McPartland: Cold, unfriendly church. ‘Executive Pastor’ leads the church in prideful, condescending and arrogant manner-attitude. I shared a personal issue with the executive pastor and his response was ‘get over it’ and proceeded to tell me how ungodly I was. I may not have gone to seminary, but can see that is not how Christ instructed us to handle things. We attended here for several years, helped in numerous ministries throughout the church. The leadership of the church callous responses to our concerns were alarming and hurtful.
We have since found another church in LWR which is extremely warm, kind, welcoming and works on being intentional neighbors to people in our community. We have also seen the difference of a church staff, pastors and deacons with a real heart of love and attitude of respect, humble spirits and service to the Lord can make! Keep looking, I can’t believe the Lord would want anyone under the current executive pastor spiritual authority. The fact the church has allowed this man to go unchecked speaks volumes.
