World AIDS MUSEUM and Educational Center - Fort Lauderdale (FL)

5 /5 Rose I.: I went here around 2017 and was very impressed by the museum. It jogged my memory of those AYDS weight loss candies. I learned a lot too. I hope the museum stays open. I became aware of the museum while working in a county school when some people came in to the school to educate the students about risky behaviors and HIV and they mentioned the museum.

5 /5 Sean Russell: Glad to know that the World AIDS MUSEUM and Educational Center is located in South Florida. I had an opportunity to tour the museum and speak with their team and was impressed with their collection and amount of knowledge about the history of AIDS around the world.

4 /5 Angel Perez: Great place. Under supported. Deserves more support from people, government, legislators, City officials and the LGBT community as a whole. In need of a larger building to house all available exhibits. Any philanthropists out there looking to support a great cause please reach out to the museum!

5 /5 Al Magdaleno: I walked into this museum not expecting to be impressed, but was I wrong. I was amazed that there was so much to see and learn. Things I never knew and things I thought I knew. The museum is arranged in a timeline structure from first recognizing there was a disease that was killing many people to the present day. They also have temporary exhibits that change, I think monthly so repeating visitors can be assured on seeing and learning something new or something you thought you knew already. Treat yourself to a surprise and visit
