3 /5 Alley W: From the second, my family walked in the door all the way thru the checkout process. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I have shopped at Bealls for years. This is the first time I have had an encounter with "Michelle." When my husband myself and our 20-year-old daughter walked through the doors, she was giving us dirty looks. At one point she followed us around the store like we were going to take something. She overheard my daughter say to her father she was going to try on a shirt in the dressing room. She stopped her mid-sentence and said, "Uh! What do you have in your hand and how may do you have?" We said, "two shirts is this an issue for her to try them on?" She said, "no, just dont try on any swimsuit." She continued to follow us. At one point she went to the other side of the store at that point we headed to the checkout. We had to wait for her to slowly walk up there. She then asked us if we were ready to check out ( while we are standing at the check out). Then my daughter hands her, her points card. She then asked her if her name was xyz three times. Each time she answered yes, maam. The last time she said, "yes, Ive told you three times I am her." One time her father answered yes, it is her as well. It is so unbelievable how rude someone can be. To make a fair and honest review of this business, I have to add that never in the past have I ever had an issue with any employee being anything but pleasant, professional, and helpful. This store is kept clean and stocked with plenty to choose from. This one staff member will not keep me from shopping here. But if she is working, I will walk back out the door and come back when she is not on shift.
