2 /5 Steph G: I did an online order which was supposed to be ready in 2 hours. 3 hours later there was no update, so I headed to the store to see what was going on. At the front desk, the woman told me she didn’t see any order for my name, even though I showed her my email and app, so I asked “am I able to go shop these items and come back up here since I already paid, or am I not charged yet since you don’t see the order? How does this work in this situation?” She went and asked the guy by self checkout, because she had no answer. His answer was - you don’t get charged until you pickup your items and leave the store. Ok cool, I’ll go get my stuff and come back up. When I come back I’m waiting, and happen to check my target card balance, and see that yes in fact I was charged for the order that they couldn’t find, and that I had not left with . Now it’s my turn, back with the same lady who has no answers for anything, she brings someone else into it who tells me to call my bank. I explain it’s my target card and I had just been told I wouldn’t be charged for a pickup order until I pick it up, and that they have no record of my order so why am I charged, and can that charge cover the stuff in the cart because I picked up the items in the order (that they can’t see, I showed it to them, and they have been paid for) ..she tells me no I need to pay and call my bank. Again, it’s my target card, can anyone here help me with this order? The answer that is no. Absolutely not one person in that store was able to help me, I went in the app and canceled the order myself and left my items at the front, and nobody there cared to attempt to help, I was just a problem they wanted to push to the side. Terrible service and a complete waste of 3 hours. THREE HOURS. Come on.
