Walmart Supercenter - Wauchula (FL)

1 /5 cavdawg5454: Wauchula Walmart is by far the worst Walmart I have ever used. The main aisles are used for extra storage making it harder to maneuver, not to mention a fire hazard. It is just too congested! They are pushing pallet jacks through the store all day and even during peak hours and make you feel like youre in the way. Walmart has specific, structured rules regarding restocking and the use of pallet jacks, largely governed by safety, efficiency, and minimizing customer disruption. They completely ignore the policy here. They will leave self checkout stations closed with long lines and then close them all together in the evening and only have one or 2 employees checking out with ridiculous lines. Store managers need to do their job and insure there is enough staffing if they are going to close the self checkout early. There are always large numbers of abandoned carts throughout the parking lot, especially on the north side. There are too many issues to even try to list! The only reason they are able to continue to operate this way is because they have very little competition. If you are okay with paying a little more, go to Winn-Dixie on the other side of town.

1 /5 Rob: Ive gotten to the point of just doing the online order and pickup at this location, as venturing into this actual store always seems to be an awkward and troubling experience. First, the regular parking lot always has an odor of cigarette and foot. Once inside, the carts are usually sticky with wonky wheels, and then when youre looking for groceries, as usual, theres never really anyone around to help if you need assistance finding items (I usually resort to using the app to find things.) Apparently "service pet" can include pretty much any animal people wish to bring into the store, including, I kid you not, one time seeing someone with an iguana riding on their shoulder. And dress code is out the window: Ive been in the store and seen a woman wearing only a bra walking near the clearance aisle, and on another occasion a shirtless man walking near automotive. Im tempted to see if I can stroll through Walmart with only my swim trunks someday. I cant fault the online order and pickup system and this seems to be the way to go going forward, although I find the wait times average about 10 minutes.

1 /5 Jeremy Dadd: Stopped in the other day for some odds and ends items. The self checkout area is always a hot mess because theres no clear direction for where the line should form and always ends with 2 or 3 random lines when its busy. In addition to people waiting to checkout, other shoppers inevitably have to get through that area to access other areas of the store. The remodel seems to have made things worse. While waiting in the self check line, I took a look in the self serve hot food case. It was 8:11pm and there were still items in the case that were made fresh at 2pm. And, to make it worse, there were items that were placed in the case time stamped at 7:08pm when they emptied out the delis steam table (the 2pm items probably should have been removed when the 5pm items were put in and definitely when the 7pm items were!).

5 /5 Anna Crawford: Very warm and inviting small location, but has pretty much what you need for the most part doesn’t have a folic tension of all the products cause it’s a small location, but it does have a vast majority of what you could look for
