Ashley G I do not recommend Ms. Alvarez. I hired her to represent me and the communication was horrible. At one point, I had made an appointment to appear at her office because I had questions that needed to be answered. I drove from Jacksonville to Fernandina to meet with her team and when I got there, the door was locked. When her team had finally unlocked the door, they acted surprised to see me and later, claimed one of the team members wasn’t in the office when she in fact, was. I looked right at her. She is hard to get ahold of and if you have a question, it can be a week before you get a response. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this attorney.

Will Farrell I had the painful experience of dealing with Miss Alvarez. My divorce case was a fairly simple division of assets. After spending entirely too much money and having very little results, I hired a different firm in Jacksonville and it was settled within a month. Definitely will not recommend this attorney.

Robert Reed Carver & Adams Law provided support for my wife and I after our move from Maryland to Florida. We had found their law firm based on a high recommendation from our previous elder care attorney in Montgomery County, Maryland. We went through an initial meeting with Janet Carver and Mark Adams turning over our existing estate planning documents and explaining that we wanted to have them rewritten based on our new location. It was what I would term as a get acquainted meeting to get to know us and our situation. At this meeting we also learned a lot about Florida issues we needed to comply with and received very good advice on how to structure our various bank accounts and retirement savings plans for the future. And we were educated regarding our new home purchase and Nassau County/Florida state taxes and Real-Estate issues. We were pleased with the results. A lot of our needs were met by Mark completing codicils of our existing wills, thus saving expense of total rewrite and supplementing our long term planning for future health issues. Their operation was efficient and thorough. Restructured documents were completed in a very reasonable time frame.

He made it sound like i had a case and was willing to take me on. I waiting after the second meeting to see what the HOA was going to do; naturally, HOAs do not move fast.
