Patricia Blakney Wish it could be lower than one star! First of all.. they force a care giver (who is not certified )to open the center and care for children. Have text to prove her job is on the line is she doesnt. Then consistently has to beg to get paid. They never give pay stubs(are they tax compliant)? I doubt it! Worst experience and this isnt an isolated incident... its consistently thru out. Please dont trust your children with these people! They only want warm bodies to open the door and let your child in.. the owner Tiffany is only in it to get your money! Stay away!

selena sanchez Do not take your kids. They will tell you there camera are working but they dont work at all for months now. My kid will come home with bit marks and no incident report. Scratches on his face and no incident report.. Some teachers dont speak English so there is a language barrier. They are mean to the kids and have no patience what so ever. My kid would come home with rashes on his bottom from being in a dirty diaper for a long time. I would send his brand of diapers every day and he would come home with some other kid diaper leaving him with an allergic like reaction. This day care had no communication I would communicate my frustration and I was never heard.. Worst day care ever!

Skylar Kickliter My daughter and I found this daycare when I literally had nobody It’s been hard to trust people throughout this 11 months and me being a single mom with no help. It’s been terribly hard. I walked in the daycare and it was like a light at the end of the tunnel.. The Director Amber’s absolutely amazing and I couldn’t ask for better infant teachers they listen to Me about my daughter make sure that her cream is on her diaper change there’s cameras in the infant room My daughter is actually standing up on her own and doing improvements at home since she started this daycare. I love each and everybody that works there they love my daughter and my daughters always happy. I snack and oatmeal and feed her whatever I bring her throughout the day and do reports on her. It’s just an amazing Daycare. I plan to tend to keep this daycare and let her grow and experience other things and children here

Arianna Mars This school is actually a pretty good school considering the location. Some of the teachers aren’t the nicest but I did finish all of my school work in a week and a half. My school counselor is so sweet.

Jeanine Bowles This is my daughters second yr in this hell hole. They change principals w/o informing parents. What was good enough last year, IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH this year. Parents arent made out of money. They put up a school supply list, and now the first day of school, they want different stuff, NOT what I bought for my child. I am planning on taking her out of this and put her somewhere more to our liking. At least my child will get the help she needs somewhere better.

Gracie Newton My son has attended PSELA since October. We could not be more impressed with the exceptional care he has received. His vocabulary and social skills have improved so much in such a short time. It is apparent that the staff truly cares about each child. The teacher to student ratio is great. Mrs Maddie (Toddler 1 teacher) is amazing at communicating which is key for me. Daily reports are written to provide parents with an idea of what their child learned each day. The director Melissa is very in tune with all of the daily functions within the school and very involved with all of the students. I truly believe that PSELA picks only the best to care for these kiddos. The curriculum is very play oriented, at least for the 1 year old class. We love this school!

nikki long We have a wonderful experiences with the school . Melissa is very kind and caring to all the kids . She also goes above beyond for all our needs. Their communicate to parents is very strong and my daughter loves to go to school each day . She will be very sad if the school is closed for holiday that tell me she really has good time there . For anyone who is looking for preschool or daycare I will recommend this place .

Carrie Singer Our daughter briefly attended the 8th grade at SSES this year. The academics were rigorous, but the social climate was unwelcoming and the administration did nothing to help. When I told the Middle School Head that my daughter was being bullied and excluded, he basically said “kids will be kids.” Another new student left for the same reason. Enrolling was an incredibly expensive mistake :(

Suzanne Goeders Great school! We moved here 3 years ago and found this "gem of a school". My boys (who have always attended public school in the past) acclimated well due to the friendly, caring staff and students. They have both found a great set of friends and have excelled in school even though the curriculum is much more difficult than they had been used to. The small class sizes are wonderful and the students get one-on-one attention from the well-educated teachers, as needed. Also, the College Counseling office has been great, they are incredibly knowledgable and well-connected to the college world. We are very happy with our decision to send our children to Saint Stephens!

Shaun Notman My 3 y/o daughter started in the fledgling class (year before pre-k) and my 5 y/o son started kindergarten in August 2023. Before they even started school 3 weeks ago, my wife and I already had multiple orientations on campus, several phone calls with administrators, educators, and volunteer parent liaisons, and a ton of emails and literature helping us prepare our family for school and making us aware of all the services available to us. My daughter was in preschool and my son was in pre-kindergarten at another local school prior to starting the Saint Stephen’s. Even after having an extremely positive experience at the previous school, my kids are even happier, intellectual stimulated and challenged, more physically active, and more socially engaged. Every time they are picked up, my kids are beaming with excitement and happiness to tell us about their day at school and very much look forward to going to school the following day. We have received phone calls and emails from my kids teachers giving us direct individualized feedback and we are very happy for this. In the three weeks since my kids have started school here, I can honestly say that I have not a single negative thing to say about the school. In reference to the previous review, my son did not attend pre-kindergarten at St. Stephen’s and both my children were welcomed into this school with open arms. We brought our kids for a shadow/evaluation day in September 2022 when they were two and four years old respectively. The school would be able to provide more details as to what goes on during that day, however when we came back to pick up our kids they were happy, had some educational materials to go home with, and told us that they had fun with the adults and kids at the school that day. We did not attempt to provide our kids any advanced preparation for this day, as we figured it was purely to observe their interactions with their peers and adults and possibly perform some minimal base knowledge/skill assessments. I cannot speak to anyone else’s interactions with the school, but I will say that our family’s interactions with the school’s staff have been nothing but tremendously positive and productive. St. Stephen’s school has also been completely transparent on their expectations of its students and their families, as well as understanding our expectations of the school. While the tuition is not cheap, based off my albeit limited experience this far I think it’s very reasonable and appropriate for the educational and social environment they offer.

jenna s We love St. Josephs Catholic School. The teachers and all administrators are wonderful and really care for the children and families. Not only do they strive for academic excellence in all their students but also help them grow spiritually. The students are respectful. My daughter said all the students are friendly and no bullying goes on at all. The school offers a great selection of affordable extracurricular activities. I couldnt ask for a better school.

Anna Cismesia So thankful for St Joseph’s Catholic School. I went there as a child kindergarten through eighth grade. I know that my experience at St Joseph’s is the reason for my continued love of learn and the reason I went into education. My children get to attend there now. They are receiving an amazing education, building lasting friendships, and a foundation rooted deep in faith.

Melissa Raymer We went to Pace today for an intake for our daughter, and it’s just an amazing place! Ms. Randi was awesome and really changed the mindset of our daughter. Small class sizes, attention to the student, activities, focusing on our child’s needs rather than lumping her into the group of the entire Manatee High... you can just feel that this place loves and cares for the well being and success of our daughters!!!

Stephany Harris They have a "non-discriminatory" notice that has recently been added to their website... but you will see that RELIGION is not included in that notice. In the world today, I would have thought a Christian school would be the LAST to discriminate against other Christian denominations! How very wrong I was... and how very sad I am about it.
