Ryan Zorn This school is absolutely awful. The physics program is an utter embarrassment to the academic community. The aerospace program is a joke with some of the worst course structuring known to man. Not to mention, not a single professor in the school knows what a curved grade is. DO NOT bother going to your professors for help because they wont. There are no areas to study past midnight unless its exam week. The campus is located in the middle of one of the sketchiest areas Ive EVER been to, and at least half of the emergency stations they have around campus are broken. Tried to transfer to the flight program, and they told me it was "full" and that I was better off "going to another school". After two semesters, I can think of only two professors whom Id genuinely recommend anyone take; the GSAs (TAs) are better teachers than the vast majority of professors at the school. They tenured a physics professor who is literally less qualified than most of the GSAs and put him in charge of BOTH of the physics labs at the school (lab design and equipment is HORRIBLE btw, ESPECIALLY for how much you pay.) as well as way too many lectures. Also, the facilities at the school havent been touched since they were built 80 years ago, and you can tell, but hey, the dining hall is nice, so thats a plus, right??? This school is not worth a single penny of the ridiculous tuition costs and is a complete disgrace to the field of education.

kaitlyn smith Communication and concerns are handled unprofessionally at this location. Had to remove my daughter from this school as an issue with a specific teacher was disregarded constantly. Teachers are allowed to scream at children here which is beyond unprofessional and higher staff must not care as multiple complaints have been made in the past with 0 phone calls returned. My daughter had two teachers whom she loved but unfortunately with the unorganized and chaotic environment, our hands were forced to remove her. Please do better.

Berna Johnson-Jenkins I absolutely love this school for my 4 year old son! He had never been in school before until 10/2023 and after attending one school 6 months, he transferred here. He cried the first day ONLY at drop off, I can tell he was welcomed warmly by his 2 teachers (Miss. Izzy & Mrs. Jennifer). He didn’t shed a tear the second day and was smiling faces at pick-up!! He now identifies letters and sounds. He also is eager to get to class when we get there mornings! Everyone at the front is glowing upon arrival, the corporate DIRECTOR Tara makes it her business (even if in the office or on a call) to greet my son with a hug! Peyton (assistant director) gave him his own “nickname” ;) and Shianna (lead Director) compliments how good of a child he is (that means she pays attention to her students). They just make me feel safe & secure as a parent to have my baby boy in their hands. I’m over joyed that I picked this place and pray every TEACHER & LUNCH staff (too many to name) are beyond BLESSED for caring for little ones as THEIR OWN! It’s a family at Coral Reef, keep up the phenomenal work ladies*******************

Aleyda Sorto My kids have been going to CRA for over a year now. The staff is amazing my kids love the after care program and their teachers especially Mrs Shannon. Mrs Shannon is so loving and I always catch her playing board games with the kids. Mrs Jessica and Mrs Whitney always acknowledge you when you walk in the doors for pickup. This entire facility treats the kids as if they were their own. My youngest cannot leave without giving everyone at the front a hug Goodbye. Definitely recommend this facility.

Christopher Moretti Coral Reef Academy has been the daycare for my daughter since she was 6 months old. The teaching staff has changed a lot since we started over 2 years ago, but the experience has remained the same. My daughter loves going to class every day and comes home with stories and new experiences. We have truly enjoyed our time with Coral Reef Academy and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a daycare option.

Karah Oliver My daughter started at CRA on Nasa last November in the 2 year old room. The staff has been fantastic in accommodating her transition. Our experience has only improved as she has moved on to the older classrooms. I personally love that I can call or come in to speak to any of the staff at any time. They were incredibly helpful with potty training. The teachers are fantastic and our daughter is genuinely happy here. The facility is also incredibly clean. Since switching daycare facilities last year, our daughter has missed significantly less time due to illnesses.

Michael Mynd This school is absolutely horrible, the food is actually slop, the only good thing is breakfast for the food, the only good thing is that the cafeteria people are actually pretty nice :), another thing is that the aftercare costs way too much, and the worst part, they only favor the little kids. Another thing is that they focus more on money and uniforms than actual learning. And for the learning, its pretty decent, and another thing is that some of the students get favored, and some that already had detention, they always get targeted, even though there are certain students, who have possibly done worse, that never get caught. Another thing is that if you untuck youre shirt, you instantly get a detention. The only good things are that you can learn things and the cafeteria people are good. There is also supposedly a double-sided mirror.

Kenia Ruiz Todo el año estuvieron discriminando a mi hija ella She always felt less in this school I regret having brought her here and it was not enough for them and at the end of the year at graduation she was the only girl who did not put her photo when they called each child to give him his diploma to be a bilingual school and with most Hispanic teachers they are complete racists the only teacher who is a great person Mrs. Ramírez a great human being and great teacher the others in main Mrs. Rodríguez are arrogant and discriminatory do not make your children feel bad and do not bring them to this school

Atalaya Gonzalez I am a parent of a child who has attended here for several years. WE LOVE PINECREST! My child has grown leaps and bounds. They’ve really encouraged her to learn to be independent and a self starter. Her test scores throughout each school year has grown SIGNIFICANTLY. SAFETY— in today’s world, this HAS to be the #1 thing for our students. I feel that my daughter is very safe when I drop her off each day. Their safety measures are well thought out. COMMUNICATION— They have very open communication with the parents. I’ve never had an issue where I cannot get a call back or questions answered. This is very important to me as well. The school is clean, lively, and a lot of work is put into it by the staff and Principal. The PRINCIPAL— WE LOVVVVVE HER! She’s what this school needed. She’s kind, a go getter, and truly loves the students. ACADEMICS— They are rigorous. Not every student thrives in this environment but mine does. She needs the challenge, and this works for us. Thank you to Pinecrest, the staff, and the parent volunteers!

H H 4 years of this school. 2 years of pure hell! This past year was enough. Back to Public school we go. My daughter was a straight A student there however teachers are super strict! They yell, make you walk with your hands behind your back, no talking allowed not even at lunch. They sweep any negligence under the rug and only obey the bps rules when it’s convenient for them. My daughter will need to seek a physiatrists this summer that’s how bad this past year has been. Oh and if you don’t like your drill sergeant teacher or have an issues with anything- they will NOT move you into another class. Lots of negligence going on at the school. Steer clear! They also do nothing for the smart ones!

Ian Watt Have seen some negative comments from a few other parents that came from other schools. The curriculum at PCCA is more challenging than the typical public school so if their child was an A student at whatever public elementary they had been going to prior to PCCA, but they had a difficult time here, maybe consider the more challenging course work rather ignorantly assuming its the schools fault. A school isnt a good school because it gives everyone an A. On a more petty note, please block off the first entrance when you open the carloop for dismissal. Its pretty irritating to see other parents cut in front of everyone who is acually following the rules. Please and thank you

cashie gilbert In my experience ,Keiser Only cares about money, not the actual student. They pressure you to just jump into a program ,not caring about how much debt you will be in when you graduate. I’m So happy to not further pursue anything with this school.

Ron Lewis I completed my Master’s degree in Education with Keiser University in 2016. The experience was challenging and incredibly rewarding. My professors were knowledgeable, skilled, and accessible. They held me to high standards, which made me a better and more determined student. Anyone seeking education at the Associates, Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral level would be well served to inquire with the school.

They work with him at the level he is at so he actually is learning and understanding. He had all straight As. The teachers are wonderful. Always communicating with the parents and so patient with the kids.

Brian Leohner Rising Stars Academy has been a game changer for my daughter. She now has it renewed enthusiasm for learning and her confidence as an individual is soaring, thanks to the efforts of everyone at this school. I highly recommend this school to anyone with a child who has autism spectrum disorder, struggling in a traditional school. Rising Stars Academy is a blessing to our family.

Tim Mazin The staff here are the sole reason I havent returned since. I was here for half of my freshman year of high school, and it was a great experience, better than I had hoped for even. The teachers were the greatest aspect of this whole school, despite it being an alternative school. They treated us like actual human beings rather than animals in a zoo, which is what made me realize what was truly good for me and what wasnt. When the teachers treat you like their own kid, you find no reason to be back here. I might as well add that a lot of my classmates were also great people, just caught up in bad situations. Thank you, staff of ALC! Love, a former attendee!

Caitlin Burguet To say Verdi EcoSchool has been a wonderful experience for our daughter is an understatement. Since attending, she went from dreading school (in her previous school), to enjoying it so much that she doesn’t want to even have a summer break. In addition to her excitement, she is thriving academically, doing above grade level math and excelling in reading and writing. This school is unique in that it offers a majority of time outside, learning practical skills like gardening and sewing, in addition to typical curriculum. Every quarter the children do a project, and each presentation has blown me away. We also love the community aspect of the school, and have met some great families who are all aligned in wanting to help foster the best learning environment for their children. It really feels like a school family, and I truly believe we all get what we put into it. If you align with the school’s mission, want your child to learn and grow in a healthy outdoor environment, and value community - definitely check them out.
