Robert Ponte I can’t say enough about Windmill Creek Academy. My son spent all of his daycare years at the creek & my daughter is just getting started.
The atmosphere is Warm, Loving & Supportive. The children are encouraged to learn creatively, practice manners, & have fun being kids.
The playground is large & protected with good tree coverage for shade. The Creek hosts a couple annual events open to parents, A well put together Padgent & Christmas event if memory serves.
I couldn’t imagine a better environment to raise our kids when they’re away from us.
Shout out to the gals running the show; Jennifer, Maria, Jessica & Director Janine are passionate in their profession & all our children benefit from it.

Tyler&MacKenzie Nehring I am not one to write reviews, but I cannot hide my disappointment in this center.
Since our daughter started in August, there have been multiple incidents that we had to bring to the director + owner’s attention. First, our 6.5 month old went 6 hours without being fed but was described as “angry fussy” that day. Then, she was fed food from the center that hadn’t been introduced yet at home nor did they have consent to feed our child food provided by the center. There were multiple pick ups where she was not changed every hour and I would have to change her poop diaper in the classroom before leaving. Again described as fussy all day and we found she 102 fever but never contacted. The final straw - our daughter was bit by another child and no accident report was filed. Additionally, the director/owner Janine stated her staff didn’t see it and she didn’t find that concerning. She even stated the ratio in the room at the time of the incident was 2 teachers-5 kids - how was nothing seen!?
These are the major ones, but other incidents had been discussed with her teachers and staff members. As a parent you put your trust in a center, and I regret not pulling our daughter after I’d seen the first handful of red flags. We met with the director about these issues and the terrible communication as she read from her notebook the list of things she wanted to say about how great her staff was. Once it was our turn to finally speak, we were unheard. She told us we were intimating parents to her staff because we asked questions, too particular and should maybe consider leaving the center. Holding her staff accountable is not a priority for the owner and the owner is the problem. She is EXTREMELY shady. When the last biting incident occurred, she mentioned the biters parents feel awful via email, yet never wrote an accident report. She promised to follow up, yet we were always the ones reminding her to do so, she said they don’t have eyes in the back of their head and because she didn’t see it won’t apologize. Due to us questioning the bite, when arrived to pick up our daughter, all her belongings were at the front desk and was told by the front desk staff that it would be our daughter’s last day. Shame on the owner for being unable to tell us herself and putting that on her staff and NO notice when it states in the handbook, “before termination occurs a parent consultation will be held.” She was to owe us a phone call as she conveniently “just left for a doctors appt” and never called, but rather reached out later in the evening via email after we sent an email regarding the situation. Super unprofessional. Very shady stuff happening there and by the owner Janine. The front porch looking in seemed great as Ms.Monika in the infants room is top notch, but the biggest blessing knowing our girl is out of there and in good childcare hands moving forward.
The only reason for our review is to ensure that prospective families are informed of the lack of care and professionalism of the owner/director, Janine.

Danielle Smith OGrady My daughter recently graduated VPK at Windmill. The ceremony was such a memorable experience for us. The kids had so much fun singing, telling us on the Mic where they are going to Kinder & showing us all the wonderful things they learned that year.
The confidence each child possessed at 4-5 years old showed us how well prepared the curriculum was for PRE-K. We left with a full binder of all the arts & crafts, learning material from the year.
The creative nature of learning, singing weekly with Ms Jeanine ( owner) & the outdoor shaded space each age group had was was sold me on the school. Olivia loved her teachers ( misses them & her friends) & was excited to go each day. They offer a school lunch program & use an app to communicate during the day with the teachers & see photos of daily activities.
If you are touring child care or VPK spots I highly recommend including Windmill to your list.
