Don Liddell I dont know why most of you that have put reviews on Google. For this wonderful culinary school that it took me two years in a half a year to get through for my culinary studies of commercial foods and culinary arts. I will say this and I am being nice about it, if you do not like First Coast Technical College in St Augustine Florida, You can go somewhere else to get your education or earn your trade. All your Chef instructors and instructors in any other department at First Coast Technical College dont have to show up for you to be educated in that trade or field, but they do. Sit back and enjoy the ride because youre 2 1/2 to 4 year degree his moments away from you starting on this challenge And for somebody to say dont waste your time. I didnt waste my time I got into an accident my first year by being hit by a car crossing State Road 16 and I kept going and going and going in my family was there for my moral support and my emotional support. You all think that everything is a joke. The Joke is on You Even though they are struggling with enrollment in The Culinary department is busting itch hump to stay in business they are still doing a good job in teaching the students what they need to know to get by in the real world. I came to class ready to go in my full uniform Chef coat buttoned up to the top Etc. And usually I try to get to class as early as I could and to get the cafeteria and Banquet Center set up for events in which I attended all of them. I really liked Miss Joe Jean Ponce and Miss Christine AKA Dr cothran along with Lee Adams and Mr Baker I think it was. My first year I just wanted to throw my hands up and just say the heck with it, but I stayed with it. Before you talk about any programs of study at First Coast Technical College in St Augustine I want you to think about one thing. Try going to all these other trade schools and see how much money youre going to put out for your classes and please let that sink in. The only thing you have to do is sit back and learn and open up your mind and let all that you learned in class sink in.

Priscilla Engler I went to see Amber at the salon for a full head of highlights. My natural color is red. I wanted gold or light gold highlights to brighten up my darker hair in the back. She did an amazing job on my hair. Gave me exactly what I asked for and I love it! The cost was minimal $65.00 for the highlight plus $10.00 per extra bowl of lightener as needed. She was so fun to talk to. I am very impressed and know she will do well when she graduates and begins in a salon in town.

Kirk Kelsey “Kelsey” Our son began his journey at The Goddard School when he was just 8 weeks old, and from the very first moment we entrusted him to the teachers in the infant room, we felt an overwhelming sense of confidence and trust. It’s clear that the staff at Goddard not only care for our son, but they truly love him. Knowing that he was in such capable, compassionate hands was crucial for us, especially since we had to enroll him at such a young age. The facility itself is always clean, well-organized, and incredibly safe, but what truly sets The Goddard School apart is the exceptional care provided by the teachers. Mrs. Lauren and Mrs. Nathalia, in particular, are the epitome of patience, kindness, and warmth. You can see it in everything they do—their genuine affection for the infants in their care is palpable, and it has given us complete peace of mind. The staff is also incredible about keeping up with their app, called Tadpoles, which they provide photos throughout the day and updates to his sleep schedule, diaper changes and feedings. Even though I am not there with him physically, I feel like I have a sense of what went on during his day-to-day which I LOVE!! You can also make notes on the app before drop off so the staff knows exactly what time he was fed last, its the best. Thank you, Goddard School!!!

Amy Bowlby We love Goddard! The staff is amazing - wonderful administrators and staff. People like Nichole, Fayth, Bee, Tammy, Lauren, and Mary make it a great place that the kids love. We couldn’t ask for better care for our children. They come home clean and happy! We love Ms. Nichole! Every day when we get to school, our son goes looking for her to give her the biggest hug! Ms. Nichole greets every child by name when they walk in and shows the kids so much love.

o M School provides very limited elective options. Administration is not approachable and dismissive of concerns. Principal Goodwin is an ineffective leader and avoids confrontation. He is disengaged from students and faculty. Dean Abbatinozzi targets specifics students. She does not document investigations properly and believes she is immune from accountability and can do as she pleases. Unfortunately, this school has been in steady decline since Principal Reidl left several years ago.

Shsindndnd Heisndnnd Either you get a good teacher or mean teacher. Deans are always targeting one person. Bathrooms are always flooded. Everybody gets blamed for something they didn’t do. Stick with friends, they will keep you sane

Blake Hi, I’m a fellow student here and I got suspended Defending myself literally because another student hit me and my friend protected me and we both got suspended. The school is trash. Staff is snarky and rude teachers care about test grades more than anything in. They bully other students like I saw a teacher bullying a student because she wears the same clothes every day at recess plus the school bathrooms are literally ugly and smell And are not taking care of the janitors. Don’t even do anything. Do not come here.

He loves all of the teachers and staff and gets so excited to go to school in the mornings! You can tell they genuinely love and care about the kids and makes it feel like a big family.

Elizabeth Strohminger Castle Brook Academy has been such a blessing for our family! We’ve been with them for 2 years now and they’re like a second home for my boys and everyone there treats you like family. This goes hand in hand with their professionalism and attention to each and every child. My kids are always excited to go there and have made good friends.

The feeling of my oldest enjoying to run into kid Pam arm Always gives me a sense of security that she’s well taken care of. The staff are always very friendly, very understanding and on top of your child’s basic necessities. The office Are always there to accommodate with your needs at a timely manner. Shalynn Sims I cannot say enough good things about Brandts. My son started a couple of months ago after being at home exclusively with family for almost 2 years. It was a tough transition for him as well as Mommy and Daddy. The staff at Brandts was so patient and wonderful with him, making sure that he felt safe and loved. His teachers Ms. Molli and Ms. Nanette are wonderful and he is learning so much especially with speech. Ms. Lee is always there in the morning with a smile making it easier to drop him off for breakfast and Ms. Sandra always has a smile for him at the end of the day. Its only been a few months but were already seeing our bright but shy little boy come out of his shell and excel.

Andrea Brown Turtle Tots has wonderful and caring staff! Our son had a hard time adjusting to daycare when we started him around 2 yo, but Ashley took amazing care of him and reassured me constantly that they have it under control, knowing how worried we were about him being comfortable. She gave him the love and attention he needed to enjoy being there every day. He has since moved up to a new classroom and his current teachers, Ms Bry and Ms Julie, are also wonderful, providing me with adorable pictures and updates of our son each day. Anytime we have a question about the program, Angela is always happy to assist and also very loving to all the kids. We are forever thankful for this group and highly recommend!

Kelley Lagasse My husband and I are beyond thrilled with Anastasia Baptist Academy. It is an amazing environment for learning and growing, perfect balance of structure, social/play, and exploration/learning. Our oldest daughter started attending at two years old and our baby girl has been attending since she was 3 months old. The facility is very clean and the teachers and all of the staff are so friendly and personable, always greeting you with a smile - its evident that they truly love their school too! The teachers love and care for the children as if they were their own. We feel so lucky to be a part of this family and would highly recommend this school to any family!

erin osullivan My son attended Anastasia Baptist Academy island campus and he had the best experience all three years he was there! I love the whole staff. Also, when he began Kindergarten at an elementary school, the K teacher told me he was well prepared along with the others that came from Anastasia Baptist. My daughter is also now in her third year there. She started in the one year old class and will be staying there for VPK next year. I have never had a single complaint about this school. I would recommend it to everyone!

Jon Foley We have two babies currently enrolled at Anastasia Baptist Academy, one in the infant room and one in the toddler room. Each teacher our children have had loved and cared for them as if they were their own. All the staff members are welcoming, kind and helpful. Our toddler absolutely loves going to school each morning and that means the world to us. Nothing but positive words to say about this daycare. We recommend them to any parent looking for a God centered daycare for their children.

Sabrina Taj-Taj Since starting at Pioneer School, my son leaves to school in a good mood, comes home in a good mood. (Which was NOT the case in his previous school.) He is coming into his own in an incredibly positive format. He’s thriving. The teachers go above and beyond in every aspect. I cannot say enough good things about Pioneer School. I am so relieved! Last year was not a pleasant experience for either my son nor I. Thank you thank you to all those evolved in making such a wonderful environment for my son!

Diana Costa This school has been such a blessing to our family. My son is on his second year at Pioneer and we couldn’t be happier. The teachers care, the parents care, and the students all work together. A true community. It’s a beautiful sight to see in a scary, uncertain world. Thank you teachers and staff for always going above and beyond for all those who attend! Driving from Palm coast everyday to make this happen and I wouldn’t trade it for the world!

BestStockStrategy My son has been going there for a few weeks. All is well so far. Also, I really like how the principal takes responsibility and accountability in the emails that are sent to parents. He says things like, "this was bad. its my fault, but itll improve". Hopefully they continue to do well and continue to serve the community. Great job so far!

Jsquid Wont ever answer the phone calls. Was trying to disenroll my son and transfer out and let them know that whole month that we were moving, then the last day they told me I needed a written notice, so I was forced to use 2 more weeks of Vpk hours putting me over 70% which makes me ineligible to transfer. We didnt need to use the VPK hours during those two weeks, now we are forced to pay for VPK. This organization has stolen my sons early education. Shame on them for not having the courtesy in letting me know till the last day I was going to leave unless it was a written notice. This school uses Christian faith to steal money from the childrens pockets.

Amy Hendrickson My children have been attending Bayside for the last 3.5 years. My son started when he was 2 and went all the way through PreK and my daughter is now in the 2 year old class. This school is the reason I feel my son was so ready for kindergarten. The level of care, safety and attention to curriculum is simply unmatched. I have appreciated low staff turnover and the transparency with parents. Often times preschool teachers go underappreciated, early education is so important and the cornerstone to lifelong learning. *Another reviewer was making a comment that these reviews are all bots and not real people. You can simply do a quick Google search on myself and all the other parents to see thats not the case.

Mallory Youngblood My daughter has attended Bayside since she was a year old. The staff is attentive and provides my husband and I updates throughout the day. We have seen a tremendous growth in our daughter’s language and she looks forward to attending. We could not imagine any other preschool for our daughter . The teachers and directors are personable and professional. They treat our daughter like their own. Definitely recommend!!

Chloe Boissalier I have toured and inquired every daycare within St Johns county. Bayside is unmatched. The care, extra curricular programs offered, the environment and the staff are unmatched. Low turn over for hires which is unheard up for daycares, that means Bayside is doing something right! My kids love going to school and do not cry when I drop them off. What more could I ask for! We love you Bayside!

Elizabeth Stam As first-year members of the Veritas Classical Christian School family, we have been profoundly moved by the depth of care and dedication exhibited by the entire faculty. From the nurturing homeroom environment to the enriching classes in Latin, art, music, and PE, our daughter has truly thrived under their guidance. What sets Veritas apart is not just its academic excellence, but the palpable presence of Christ in every aspect of school life. Attending the weekly parent prayer sessions has been a beautiful experience, reinforcing our sense of community and shared faith. The thoughtful integration of class field trips with classroom lessons further underscores the schools commitment to holistic education. Above all, we have complete peace of mind knowing that our daughter is not only learning but also safe and protected within the schools walls. As we eagerly anticipate the years ahead, we are grateful for the opportunity to deepen our involvement with the Veritas community. Lions lead!

Kevin Lay Veritas Classical school has been incredible for not only my son, but for the community and education. Through their growth, they have been expanding their programming and continue to educate young men and women classically and through an abundant resource of teachers that care for them and love the Lord. There are great schools in our county - both public, charter and private. You can count Veritas right alongside them!
