Sarah A Im thankful we have a local college that continues to make itself better with each year. Im receiving my AA in 3 credits and I have nothing but outstanding things to say about this school. My advisor has always been incredibly attentive to my needs, even down to offering book recommendations within my future major. I never feel rushed or unwanted. Not all professors or experiences will be great for everyone; however, Im thankful to say all of mine have. The campus is also quiet and beautiful to hang around.

Mare Hernandez Am I the only one having issues with this school? I recently moved to the area and have been trying to go back to school, but this has been the most frustrating experience Ive ever had. I’ve tried calling, messaging, and visiting in person—and every time has been difficult.
The last time I went in person to speak with an advisor, I was treated very rudely. The staff member cut me off and told me I was “done” and could leave. I later found out—only because I called three weeks later—that there was an issue with my transcripts, even though I had handed them in personally.
Every time I call, I get a different answer depending on who I talk to. It took two to three months just to receive my acceptance letter. Now that I thought I could finally move forward, I’ve learned there are still more steps before I can even meet with an advisor.
I’ve attended two other colleges in different states due to moving, and I’ve never had an experience this disorganized and stressful. I hope they improve their communication and student support because this process has been exhausting.
