Sherry A. Henry Boca School for Autism (BSA) is a private, not-for-profit school, serving students with autism, learning and behavior differences. They offer a unique educational experience that emphasizes both academic achievement and the development of independent living skills. Their goal is to prepare our students for success in college, employment, at home and social settings, and in their communities.
The school provides a customized curriculum to each students needs using a transdisciplinary approach. This means experienced clinicians collaborate daily with academic teachers, integrating therapeutic services (ABA, speech therapy, occupational therapy, mental health) throughout the day.
The employees provide a safe, nurturing, enriching environment for students to thrive. I serve as a volunteer and I am truly humbled to help these amazing students, families and the BSA team provide a person-centered academic experiences for its students.

Dory BSA has been a dream come true for our family! We have not only found a place that is safe, warm and nurturing for our 16 year old son but, unlike all other schools we’ve been to, they respect his intelligence and always presume competence! They were willing to teach him the way HE learns best, via spelling and typing, when no one else would look past the deficits in his expressive language to teach him age appropriate material. He is now rocking algebra and biology and impressing his teachers every day with his thirst for knowledge and his teenage wit!

I cannot stress enough how important to tour the campus and meet the teachers and specialist on staff. We had seen the Director Diana Sierra on tv with the news and we scheduled a tour. Make sure to speak with Melody , Kevin and Tony is great with our son who loves music. A great place that has made such a difference for us.
