Jean Maurer I highly recommend the Madison Salon as the beauticians all appear to be specialists/artists as well as helpful, upbeat, and friendly. The salon is spacious, well appointed and comfortable. I had a wonderful experience today with Velvet. She gave me a whole head of highlights took her time and gave special attention to specific areas per my requests. The color turned out beautiful and I’m looking forward to my next visit with Velvet! She’s obviously a perfectionist, and a very sweet young woman.i also highly recommend the Moroccan oil hair products. Best hair products on the market in my opinion.

Amy Whiteside I took my daughter here for highlights and trim, and a blowout. Mariah was our stylist and she was amazing! She is true to her work and it is obvious how much time and effort and love she has put into her career. She also was able to connect with my teen daughter in a way that very few adults have ever been able to. We will be back!

Kali Biglin Selfishly I didnt want to write this review and risk never getting an appointment again! But cannot recommend this salon and especially Tessa enough. I have been here for 3 years and have been to at several different stylist and she has exceeded my expectations. I’ve hated my hair since moving here and having difficulty finding the right stylist for me. And now I can confidently say I’m obsessed with my hair and am so happy I have found my hair girl. Walking in everyone was so nice and helpful cannot recommend these girls enough!

Anastasia OMalley I was excited to try a new salon today. My appt time was 2:30 and I was there in plenty of time. I was greeted by staff and asked if I wanted a beverage. So far so good…I was waiting quite a while to be greeted by my stylist. I never was. I finally decided to get up and leave the salon at 2:53. I was never told by anyone she was running behind, or by her personally. A huge let down.

Lexie Lucia is the best! She is so talented and one of the best to ever touch my hair. I was new to the area and finding someone that you trust with your hair is always a little nerve wracking. The salon itself is so adorable and welcoming. I immediately felt comfortable with Lucia. She caught on to the look that I wanted and gave me the most beautiful color and cut. My hair hadn’t been colored in years, and she made sure I felt confident and beautiful when walking out the door. I never felt rushed as she took her time when coloring, cutting, and even styling. I cannot recommend this salon and Lucia enough!!

Kristin Russell I just had my hair dyed at Salon Zellanova and I am in love with it! Lo did an amazing job and really took the time to make sure my hair was exactly how I wanted it. The staff were all professional, easy to talk to and knowledgeable. If youre looking to dye your hair and feel like a new person after, I highly recommend this salon.

Alison Lichford After moving, I was in need of a local Hair Stylist. I have long, thick hair and highlights. Brett was amazing! He cut my hair perfectly, highlighted it perfectly. Everything was perfect. Finding a new stylist can be difficult sometimes, but I lucked out first try. The salon is absolutely beautiful and the environment is so relaxed and comfortable. All the staff I encountered were friendly, and I saw the other stylists do amazing work as well. Highly recommend!

Laura Bethel This salon is AMAZING! This was the second time Ive been to Salon Zellanova and both times were by far the best experience Ive ever had. The hair wash and head massage alone were completely intoxicating! The color really seems to last a long time and the cut is so easy to maintain. I love it :) Thanks Nancy!

Cheyenne Sneyd This salon is amazing! I had my hair done couple months ago and it went terribly wrong. Laura spent over 3 hours fixing my hair!! She is amazing and dod wonders!! Will never go anywhere else!!

Barbara Lingis Just moved to this area and decided to try this salon. So glad I did. From the very moment I walked into the salon, I felt comfortable and appreciated. Laura cut and styled my hair the first time I went and Stephanie did the second time. Both did a fantastic job. It is such a joy to find two incredibly good stylists in one shop. I would recommend this salon to anyone who wants a great stylist and someone who listens to what you want done. Their receptionist is also very professional and cordial. GREAT SALON!!

Sarah Butler Stephanie and Laura did amazing work for our wedding yesterday! Stephanie handled makeup while Laura handled hair for myself and two girls in the wedding, and we were showered with compliments all afternoon. They perfectly executed each style that each of us requested and I would highly recommend them for any occasion, especially weddings. Special kudos to Stephanie for squeezing me in for an emergency makeup trial the day before my wedding. I also had my lashes tinted and curled about two weeks ago by Jamie and they look so good! I don’t need to wear mascara and my lashes look full and super long.

Jimmy Quick Ive been going to Ada for about 2 years now. She does a fantastic job and even trims my beard at no extra cost. Her prices are fair and I always throw her a good tip.

On account of Ada being of Puerto Rican origin, the best word for her as a barber or hair stylist comes from Spanish: formidable, meaning fantastic, terrific, tremendous, intimidating, almost scary. Shes not just a skilled stylist/barber, shes a presence, a force of nature. The sign on her mirror captures something close to the core of her being. It addresses God not to ask for anything but to say thank you for all God has already given her. Today was my first time at Blue Dolphin. It wont be my last. Thank you, Ada!

Michelle Rhone We stopped in while on vacation in St A. My 7 year old desperately needed a haircut. Ada did a fantastic job!! She was sweet and kind and gentle with him and his hair looks great! He gave it a big smile. The other gentleman working there was very friendly too. Highly recommend this little gem.

Joerg Proeve George is an amazing hair dresser. My son and I have never been disappointed.

Gina Fallica George is simply the best! I’ve been coming here for years because he listens to your ideas, makes “spot on” suggestions and I always look and feel great when I leave. I have a medium length bob and always tell him, “ when I get up in the morning, I could walk out the door without ever combing my hair—your haircut is THAT good”!

Chris Ray When I moved to St Augustine in 2020 I had a hard time finding a good hairdresser, after several disappointing cuts a co-worker told me to try George, I did and have been going to him ever since. I get lots of compliments on my hair and I recommend everyone to George he is a Great guy and does a Great job. Make an appointment you won’t be disappointed Good service reasonable pricing.

Stephanie Greene Marlee is fantastic. I loved her big welcoming personality and how cute and put together she was. She was very attentive and I felt so taken care during my appointment. She gave me great home care instructions and picked the perfect products to help maintain my style and color. And the new salon location felt so homey. Loved everything about my visit!

Orpaz Mishel I dont recommend on this place. The first time I went there, I wasnt happy with the results. but he was a nice and kind person, and gave me a good service. Ive decided to give this hair salon another chance with different hair stylist. So Ive booked an appointment with Morgan amonth an ahead. After arranging a babysitter to my baby and clearing half of my day, I arrived to my appointment, And she told me she wont finish my hair in one time. She wanted to split it for 2 appointments, And do only the top of my head. Which is absurd to leave the hair salon with half hair done. So weve decided to reschedule and set another appointment for two weeks an head and then she will be able to do my hair in one time. Now!! I received today a call( 5 days before my appointment) from Morgan. and being told that she wont be able to do my hair on the date we booked. which is the the day before I have an event. Its upsetting, its burden to have to reschedule a babysitter twice, and clearing half day in order to get my hair done before my event and not get it done, because of her bad service. Im surly not going back With this bad experience. Its upsetting, and I wont recommend on this hair salon.

Taylor Kelly I absolutely love coming here!! Janna absolutely transformed me. Every time I leave, I feel so much more confident. She is extremely communicative and knows exactly what she is doing. Janna sat me down initially before going into the back and explained the processes for my Lip filler, Eyelash Extensions and Brow Lamination and the science behind it. She is an extremely intelligent business woman who knows what shes doing! Once the explanation was completed, I signed an agreement then everything started. It was my first time and I was nervous, but I barely felt a thing. I am also horrible with needles but Janna was able to work with me on everything and was extremely patient. Laser Treatments: I have PCOS and after just one treatment with her laser, I am able to have it under so much more control then I did originally. She explained the process and how the laser treats the hair. She mapped everything out and did not miss a single spot! I will definitely go back whenever I can for my brow and lashes and finish up my laser treatments with her! Highly recommended that everyone goes to her.

Howard Hinestroza Went there with my son and we both got a haircut from Suzanne. She is fine, adept and sweet. Would definitely go back and recommend her! The Latino guy is good as well.

Terri Johan Was fed up n wanted to get my hair cut with this summer heat...called ahead n they took walk ins & got price. Got in right away. I showed Devon a photo of a cut that was maybe 3 inches long, a lil messy... similar to Rinnas forever haircut, kinda sorta... anyway, ended up with it being so short in the back you can barely grab it with finger tips in places, on one side. One side was shaved behind my ear, the other side was an inch or more longer. I tried to even it up myself, then grabbed the longest pieces and had hubby trim those. She shaved part of my hair along neckline it was so short, and the side that was shaved behind my ear had hairs 4 inches long.... When I called in, I was told itd be $15. It was $20 plus tip, which I didnt want to leave, but did. Not going back. I assume the older couple are owners, they were so very nice. Hate leaving a negative review, its not a reflection on them, just on the one that cut my hair, she didnt even introduce herself, had no idea what her name is til I saw debit transaction go through. Devon that cut my hair didnt even speak morexthan 10 words to me She dumped the hair from the cape onto my feet. I stood up, she said sit back down so she could cut more, getting hair inside my shirt, while "evening it up". Then said it was 20. Ugh. Disappointing. Thankfully my hair grows fast, its a disaster. Embarrassing, honestly.

Sophia Abuzeni Alyssa did an absolutely incredible job on my extensions and color! She took the time to truly understand what I wanted, making sure every detail was perfect while also prioritizing the health of my hair. Her talent and attention to detail are truly unmatched. Before Alyssa, I had never had such flawlessly blended, seamless extensions or color. She delivered exactly what I asked for, and my color is absolutely stunning!!

Jennifer Nelson I love coming to get my hair done here. They specialize in invisible bead extensions and even my color stylist couldnt tell I had extensions in until she touched my hair! They have so many different color hair extensions to chose from and they will color match if you need to. EmMarie does my extensions and is fabulous!

Kayla Castleman Alyssa is so kind and very detail oriented when it comes to extensions. It is always done so well because she cares and wants it to be the best! My move ups are always flawless and she does a great job with color as well. I would highly recommend Alyssa especially if you are an extension girlie :)

Rita Mantone I always liked Mahela Salon but have always jumped around to different salons. I get a haircut maybe twice a year. I had an appointment with Jessica recently and left with a nice haircut and feeling good about my hair situation. My hair has been thinning out but Jessica told me I had plenty of new hair coming in. The stylist at the last salon I went to had me feeling bad when I left about my thinning hair and droopy eyebrows!Jessica was professional and kind and when I am in St. Augustine, I will go to Mahela Salon for haircuts.

Susan Martin Deena does my hair and Heather has cut my husband’s hair for the past several years. It’s always a pleasure to visit as both ladies are personable and care about their clients’ needs. Deena takes her time to get my haircut right and does a great job on my highlights. Her prices are more affordable than other salons too. She’s created a great hometown feel to her salon. Try Deena or Heather and you’ll feel welcomed and look great too!

She was more than patient with my fumbling with trying to explain what I wanted and she exceeded my expectations for my hairdo for a wedding we were all to attend later in the day. Diane Jackson S&R Hair Company is definitely a 5 star experience. My entire family sees Rachel for her services. We have never had to wait for our appointment times, she always treats us like family and each one of us walks away feeling and looking great. Not only is Rachel amazing, but the salon is GORGEOUS!
