2 /5 Terri Johan: Was fed up n wanted to get my hair cut with this summer heat...called ahead n they took walk ins & got price. Got in right away. I showed Devon a photo of a cut that was maybe 3 inches long, a lil messy... similar to Rinnas forever haircut, kinda sorta... anyway, ended up with it being so short in the back you can barely grab it with finger tips in places, on one side. One side was shaved behind my ear, the other side was an inch or more longer. I tried to even it up myself, then grabbed the longest pieces and had hubby trim those. She shaved part of my hair along neckline it was so short, and the side that was shaved behind my ear had hairs 4 inches long.... When I called in, I was told itd be $15. It was $20 plus tip, which I didnt want to leave, but did. Not going back. I assume the older couple are owners, they were so very nice. Hate leaving a negative review, its not a reflection on them, just on the one that cut my hair, she didnt even introduce herself, had no idea what her name is til I saw debit transaction go through. Devon that cut my hair didnt even speak morexthan 10 words to me She dumped the hair from the cape onto my feet. I stood up, she said sit back down so she could cut more, getting hair inside my shirt, while "evening it up". Then said it was 20. Ugh. Disappointing. Thankfully my hair grows fast, its a disaster. Embarrassing, honestly.

1 /5 Spencer Santiago: The worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. There is a reason it’s $15 I guess because I could have done better myself. I walk in and this woman just stairs at me and says can I help you? I was in a pinch and needed a cut so I went to her chair. She didn’t even try. I told her I liked my length on top and she cut it all down. Was cutting my hair with one hand not holding the hair with the other and used about 4 different clippers on me. She was either high or just didn’t care at all. These people need to be vetted by the owner is this shop.

The Shore Hair Salon - St. Augustine Don Landcaping: What a lovely salon. Tucked away on the edge of St Augustine Shores. Just had a haircut with Tony, who not only did a wonderful job, but lifted my spirits. Pleasant, kind, talented and knowledgeable! Great haircut- wonderful experience.

Hair Cuttery - St. Augustine Celine Compass Rose: Made an appointment with Stacy. When I arrived someone said they had tried to reach me ( didn’t get an email, text or call) and that Stacy wasn’t at work today. I was told someone else could take the appointment.. which turned out to be a junior stylist. I walked out. Better communication would be appreciated since I drove 40 minutes to get there. And to top it all off, I just received an email that says I was a no show?!?

The Madison Salon and Beauty Bar - St. Augustine Jean Maurer: I highly recommend the Madison Salon as the beauticians all appear to be specialists/artists as well as helpful, upbeat, and friendly. The salon is spacious, well appointed and comfortable. I had a wonderful experience today with Velvet. She gave me a whole head of highlights took her time and gave special attention to specific areas per my requests. The color turned out beautiful and I’m looking forward to my next visit with Velvet! She’s obviously a perfectionist, and a very sweet young woman.i also highly recommend the Moroccan oil hair products. Best hair products on the market in my opinion.

Golden Tiger Salon - St. Augustine Jonathan Rothman: Monica is a true professional. Parking is easy and ample. Her salon space is beautiful, open and bright, and her attention to detail is what makes me return to her time and time again for my haircut and styling needs. She always places the customer first and tries hard to make our visits relaxing and enjoyable. I love our sessions together! I recommend her for both Men and Women (she cuts my wifes hair as well).

Rock Paper Scissor Salon and Color Bar - St. Augustine Cole C: Great customer service color salon! I love the beach vibe, tropical sunroom to relax in, sip coffee, or glass of wine. I have tried several stylists, all provided superb performance, very happy with hair cut and color, love the surface products that they offer!
