Jenny Gray Rebekah is wonderful!! I moved here recently and was looking to find a curly hair stylist, and I can say Rebekah exceeded expectations. Not only was the cut exactly what I wanted, but I truly want to replicate her styling exactly. She really knows curly hair and was kind enough to walk me through everything she was doing so I could repeat it later when styling myself. I also got my first eyebrow tinting done, and I absolutely love it. Rebekah is wonderful, and it was just an all around fantastic and high quality experience. Will for sure be going back and highly recommend.

Sholeh Duncan Rebekah is amazing! Prior to my appt with her, I knew I had wavy hair but had no idea how to care for it so I was a frizz ball constantly. I also had never been to a salon before in my life (only ever used Great Clips for trims) so all this was very new for me. However I knew I needed an expert and after a lot of research scheduled an appt with Rebekah. She was very accommodating and knows what she is talking about- for context I have long hair that’s a bit thicker and she immediately knew what I needed and how to style it properly. 100% worth the money spent and I only wished I had come to her sooner! If you have textured hair of any kind she is the gal for you, 10/10. Thank you Rebekah!

Jocee Barrera I loved my curly cut with Rebekah. She helped my hair look the best it has ever looked while teaching me how to care for my hair. I will definitely be returning to this beautiful salon.

Lamonica Gadson My first appointment with Mocha and Jazz was a great experience. Jazz did my micro retighten both ladies were very polite and professional and I absolutely loved my hair when she was done. I recommend this studio to anyone who needs a REAL loctician.

Markai Milorin Her reputation doesn’t do her justice. She is phenomenal in every way. Her professionalism is astounding. She doesn’t make you feel like a client she makes you feel like family from the first entrance in her salon. The safe haven I think a lot of us didn’t know we needed. This boss deserves more than reviews, but her own flowers.

kaitie curry Ms. Mocha is super duper sweet! Every time I attend her salon, the vibes are always great, the environment is soothing & I know my hair is being taken care of. She truly has growing hands! My loc journey has been amazing & they are truly flourishing! ❤️

Janie Dennis Ashley was very nice and extremely quick! You feel at home when you walk in there like no one is judging! If you are tender headed, you can tell them and I’m sure they will be gentle but be prepared for some pain. I was happy with my results and the service! I also love the decorations! Thank you! ❤️

Jaimie Martin Worst appointment EVER!! The stylist LEFT without notice. I know there is a stigma behind black salons but this takes the cake! I had the worst experience here. Not only was my hair done poorly, I went in for a relaxer and a roller set, but the worker Ashley completely neglected me. She left mid roller set, stuck me under the drier with the hair only partially rolled, and went to an appointment!!! I booked THIS hair appointment in advanced with HER. Co workers were calling to find her when we realized she didn’t bring her phone. No one knew where she went. I was left to have a nice sweet woman Ms. Hazel , bless her, try and come to my rescue she had to ask wether or not my hair was even relaxed, until Ashley came back after about 2 hours and some change to instead use the curlers to make me look like I was attending an 80s dance or 90s Sunday school (my hair fear). As a new mom wanting to feel good about myself again, with some time doing something nice for myself, this was NOT IT! Not to mention a lady came in for a scheduled appointment for highlights and no one knew who she signed with. How unorganized?! Ashley came back and charged FULL PRICE btw SMH

Jolene Geneviève I came in to see Ashley a day before Thanksgiving for a simple braided ponytail. After paying $60 plus tip for a wash + blowout, trim, and a braided ponytail, she did not deliver even remotely adequate work. There was a huge bump from the hair not being slicked down properly. The hairstyle looked bad! After wrapping it up like she said, the bump still didn’t come out. She didn’t even give me a sleek blowout as I requested. Plus my natural hair was sticking out of the braid a couple of days in. It was a basic ponytail that looked bad as soon as I left the salon. I had hoped that wrapping it up would help, but it did not. After calling the salon, she told me that I would have to pay her half the price of the style to have it redone. Would not recommend them :(

victoria williams I am a fairly new client. I love Mandisa Ngozi salon! Valencia is personable, a great stylist, and the prices are reasonable. I also love the hair products! I would love to have gone sooner. However, I am a client for life! I would highly recommend Mandisa Ngozi for your hair care needs.

s hough I have been going to Christine Taylor at Changes Hair Studios for over 20 years, she is an expert with color and highlighting, and can recommend the perfect hairstyle for you. The new studio is gorgeous and you will feel like a princess for the rest of the day! Love the new location!

Otium serenitatum Sonja is fantastic! Ive been getting my hair cut, colored and styled by her for years! Shes funny, and pays attention to your style choices. Great Salon!

Eva Alpert This place is very nice however they do not specialize in ethnic hair. They give a good wash and conditioning treatment but are not experts when it comes to straightening hair. I would not recommend this place to someone who wants to transform their curly locs to a straight look. If you have straight to wavy hair Bella Design will suit your needs.

Jordan Webster Kay is absolutely the best lash artist I’ve ever come across! She takes her time and is so thorough making sure every lash is POPPING! Not to mention her isolation, and technique makes the longevity in between appointments so good! She is a true artist, she customizes the color and lash shape for what suits you best. As well as being an incredible nail artist as well. She is all around amazing, her personality is to die for, and I just love her tons!

Barby Moro Lacey and her team at Tryst are amazing! They are a small boutique salon located in a renovated house in Midtown. They use a variety of products - Living Proof, Olaplex, Davines, K18, Farmhouse Fresh, etc. But I’ve done major hair changes and coloring there with Rachel and her work has been flawless every time. Super cute space with an amazingly talented team. I look forward to every appointment. ❤️

Emma Brown I have gotten my hair cut by Lexi multiple times now and I am her biggest fan! She always uses the best products for my hair types and executes my vision perfectly. Ive never loved my hair more!

Axle Was super nervous when booking because I dont normally trust barbers but I absolutely love high key studios. Kellsey did a incredibly amazing job and now I can say I wont be going to anywhere else will definitely be back for all my hair needs gpong forward! I absolutely love the haircut they gave me and its definitely worth the money if I could give a 10 star review Kellsey would definitely be my number one go to!

Amanda Barineau I was lucky enough to find McKenzie Trim several years ago and wouldn’t go anywhere else. McKenzie always listens to my concerns and gives honest feedback when it comes to my hair. I get compliments on my color all the time. My favorite part of getting my hair done is McKenzie is so easy going and makes my appointment feel more like I am hanging out with a friend. Definitely recommend giving her a call if you’re looking for someone new.

Bri Holbach If youre debating going to see Kelsey, DO IT! She is sweet, knowledgeable, and cares so much about her clients. I went in for the first time recently for a low maintenance balayage and hair cut. While talking, I mentioned needing hair and makeup for my elopement reception and Kelsey managed to fit me in to her very busy schedule, helping me tremendously. The day of my reception I was a frazzled mess but when I arrived at High Key Studios, Kelsey curated the calming vibe I needed -- she even had a little bottle of prosecco and a charcuterie board waiting for me! Kelsey obviously cares so much about her craft and I am so glad to have gotten a chance to know her!

LMichelle Media Shalonda, who is a certified land super knowledgeable loctician, did an excellent job with my retie!! And Sonja, a seasoned stylist and professional colorist, did an Awesome job matching my root color. They are true professionals and their customer service exceeded my expectations. The salon is modern, very clean and has a very peaceful vibe! I cant wait to book my next appointment! PS: The shampoo service is more like a spa experience, its so refreshing!! I highly encourage you to try this salon!

Kory has many years of experience and listens to what it is you want your hair to look like. I haven’t been this happy with my hair in several years! She does excellent color and she has talent with cutting as well. You can’t go wrong with Kory- The atmosphere at Unike is positive and relaxed. So happy to find this Jem!

Lala Arnold Orelle at Royalty Stylez, located inside of Ablaze studio, is the best at this natural hair. Ive been going to her since May and love her creations! I have referred several people and they are satisfied and returning customers as well. She is prompt, friendly and courteous. If your looking for a natural stylist, give Orelle a try!

bobby goodson Walked into the Pink Comb looking like a neglected houseplant, walked out feeling like a freshly sculpted topiary masterpiece. Juliet wielded those scissors like a wizard with a wand—pure magic. Best haircut of my life, 10/10, my mirror’s never been happier.

Sarah Berner This place is clean, bright, and welcoming. Jordan gives an amazing haircut and Brandi is great for manicures. I like that they sanitize all of their manicure tools before reuse, and they dont reuse anything that cant be sanitized. They also offer "5 free" Zoya nail products.

Sophie Hart I love my new cut. Kristin is a hair genius and never rushes. She always makes sure it is what you want. So glad I found her.

Sherry Rowe Beautiful inviting enterance with sitting and beverages available. A welcoming receptionist is available for additional scheduling needs. My hair stylist was promptly on time, pleasant, and really took time to cut and style my hair. I never felt rushed. I will continue to visit this salon.
