Courtney Lazar Our 2 year old had his first cavity on one of his molars and wed been to 2 other pediatric dentists in the Santa Rosa Beach area and were not thrilled with the care or treatment plans presented to us for, an already very scared, 2 year old boy. We were referred to Wild Smiles by our chiropractor and even tho it was an hour drive for us we decided to make the trip up and give it a shot and Im SO glad we did. We will be forever clients regardless of the drive. The entire staff was so welcoming and they did everything they could to help keep my little man as calm as they could while providing amazing treatment for his teeth. The dentist came up with a great treatment plan for our kiddo taking into account the health of his teeth, his age, and his fear of going to the dentist. Would HIGHLY recommend this place to anybody looking for their kiddos.

Mara Uhls I have nothing but good things to say about Crestview! My almost 2-year old took a nasty fall our first day of vacation and knocked a tooth out. None of the dentists’ offices around would see us. We drove an hour to Crestview after we explained the situation and they told us “get in the car; we will see you when you get here.” Everyone was smiling and friendly! As soon as we went back, we got an X-ray done and the staff reassured us of the current situation and next steps. While I was frantic about remembering details for our dentist back home, they told us they would take care of everything when they sent over the medical records. Obviously it was not an ideal way to start vacation, but Crestview made a stressful situation so much easier with their kind and helpful attitudes. We would be back if we lived closer!

Olivia Dunn We’ve taken our toddler (who is very, very shy around new people) twice and each time they are literally the most sweetest and comforting, gentle pediatric dentistry we’ve been too. They really helped my daughter open up to getting her cleaning done, because it can be scary. Long story short my daughter ended up having a blast getting her teeth cleaned and had a really great experience herself. I can’t recommend them enough and look forward to all our future visits with them.

Yulia Samotaeva I have been at the Okaloosa Health Department today with my kids for their dental cleaning. We are very pleased with the dental hygienists and the dentist, everyone including the receptionist were very friendly and professional. The dental hygienist lady gave me practical advices on good oral hygiene practice. Overall, very good experience, I wish we have a dental office in fort Walton beach health department.

Lala They do dental work for children here. When you say you need a cleaning for a child you expect more than a typical tooth brush. It was pretty much that. When I was younger going to the dentist for cleaning ment more than that. It was the brushing, the flossing, the polishing, the Florida varnish, there was lots more but it seems like places are cutting corners these days for younger patients. Baby teeth are important as adult teeth until the baby teeth ones are replaced by the big ones. For my 3 year old it seemed like his cleaning there was no better than could be done at home.

nina aleksejenko Dental clinic is not bad everybody very friendly, but to make an appointment is nearly impossible. They send a card for a child with the date but u cant get that date or any day close to that. They put you on the waiting list and u have to call them to check availability. It can take a month. So frustrating. The system needs to be changed

Fontain Fowler The best doctor I have been to in the past 20 yrs. I had been to the ER twice and my primary care doctor with very large mouth ulcers. Everytime it was a fast glance along with a few prescriptions and out the door. None of helped at all. The ulcers continue to get larger and more painful. Desperate for help I reached out to Dr Hornes office the following morning after my last ER visit. Dr Hornes office had me in their office that day even being a new patient. With a full examination of the ulcers ( me in tears for pain for the 3rd day) he then took time discussed our options. He also took time to comfort me in the situation because it has me very anxious and nervous. He reminded me how a doctor should truly perform and treat his patients. That is the first time I felt that a doctor took time that wasnt required but needed to comfort me. I want to thank him & his staff for making me feel like more then just another patient. I will always recommend him to anyone who has any mouth issues hands down.

Jo Ann Mossow Went to Dr Horne on 10/5/20 to have a wisdom tooth removed. It was a problem tooth as the root tip was very close to the nerve in my jaw, if the root tip were to hit the jaw nerve and damage it upon removal it could leave me with a tingling feeling for a few months to a permanent situation. My regular Dentist referred me to Dr Horne. On my first consultation Dr Horne took his time explaining to me what was going on with my x-rays, he explained everything showing me the root tip close to the jaw nerve etc. He put me at ease with the situation. I decided to have the tooth removed as it was erupted and clashing with my other teeth. His entire staff along with him was so comforting, they put you at ease. As of today 10/6/20 the day after Ive had no bleeding, no swelling and above all no pain whatsoever!! Hes amazing and I would recommend his services whole heartedly to anyone who needs a Dental Surgeon!!

Winslow E. Dixon I cannot express how grateful I am for Dr. Horne and his practice. I had 4 teeth removed and also have Addisons disease, which requires extra protocols for procedures. Dr. Horne was extremely knowledgeable and assured me that I would be taken care of. The procedure was literally the easiest Ive ever experienced. Additionally, his practice is affordable and his staff was very kind. If you have any hesitation about getting your teeth taken care of, rest assured this practice is an excellent choice. Also, Hannah was very comforting before my procedure and the two girls named Brittany at the front desk were super nice as well. Thanks, Dr. Horne and his staff for taking such good care of me!

Sherry Bogard Made an appointment explained insurance and travel schedule at time of appointment. All my husband and I wanted was a cleaning and understood we’d probably have to have x-rays being first time new patient. We arrive on time only to be told we had to pay upfront due to our insurance. So when I asked the cost was then explained they would not be doing a cleaning on our teeth only the x-rays. Very upset to hear this news as the purpose of the appointment was to have a teeth cleaning. Ended up walking out extremely upset from lack of communication within this office very unprofessional.

We had to pay upfront the first visit but when the insurance kicked in we had credit for the other visits. Everything has been smooth wne weve been with then for 3 years now.

Amy Gould I have been coming here since my oldest was a baby in 2011. They are just as kind with our fifth baby as they were in the beginning. The educational information is updated regularly. This place is a great resource. Plus its always very clean when I am there. I have been in doctor offices that werent as well kept as this place.

Debbie Wesson Dr. Farrugia and his assistant Tamara provided me with the highest professional and individual dental care I could receive. They patiently addressed every question and concern I had about dental implants. Their care and compassion gave me comfort as I went through my procedures. Dr. Farrugias expertise and compassion for his work was evident on my first visit. This is a "top notch " team and I look forward to continuing my dental care with them.

Morris Devereaux I had bone loss that other, older Dentists had told me would require false teeth.  They said I wasnt a candidate for implants, but I really wanted them.  When Dr. Pappas first took over the practice, he told me that I needed to do something about the teeth that were giving me trouble due to bone loss and I told him my dislike of false teeth.  He suggested a "Sinus Flap" procedure that would give me the necessary bone and allow him to do implants.  I was very apprehensive and went home to read about it.  I asked countless questions which he answered with patience and detail. The entire process took several months due to the time needed for bone to grow.  I had to come in for several steps.  The staff was friendly, cooperative and I rarely had to wait more than ten minutes.  At each step, he was careful, almost painless and very thorough.  Yesterday I finished my last procedure and I couldnt be happier.  I now have implants where other dentists told me they couldnt provide them.  I was able to eat with them last night with no discomfort.  They fit perfectly and feel like my natural teeth.  Thanks the Dr. Pappas and the entire staff of Freedom Dental.

Only Updoots Ive had over $50k dental work done in my lifetime and seen over 20 different dentists without ever feeling a need to complain and that includes the oral surgeon who left a barb in my gums This is the only dentist office I would ever tell people to avoid. Unless you hate yourself, your money, and just really want to waste your time find another dentist!

A.W.R After calling around to find an oral surgeon to remove my final wisdom tooth. I decided on going with Dr. Rawson. I do not currently have any dental insurance, so I needed to find someone in my budget. Prices varied from each office I called and some couldnt even give me a price. When I called Dr. Rawsons office, they gave me a quote on the cost that was almost to the penny of exactly what it cost me. I went in for a consultation, which wasnt too long , but to the point. Took some x-rays, watched a short video about surgery and arranged an appoint on a Wednesday. The Dr. comes to the Crestview office on Wednesdays. My whole surgery lasted about an hour or so. Didnt feel any pain during surgery and the assistants and Dr. were nice and made sure I was comfortable. After the surgery was finished, they Instructed me on how to care for and treat my mouth and gave me plenty of medical supply to help with the recovery. Called later that day after surgery to check up on me. If your wondering how they removed my wisdom tooth. Dr.Rawson didnt try to pull it, but broke it up into pieces to remove it. I had a impacted wisdom tooth. My over all experience was very pleasant. The staff and assistants are warm and friendly. Dr. Rawson was genial and professional. Having a tooth removed can feel kind of scary and nerve racking, so you want someone to take good care of you during and after something like this. So, I would highly recommend Dr. Rawson and his office for Oral care.
