Erin Sinders When I first met Phyllis, 2 years ago, it was after a dye job from another stylist that left my hair a horrible shade of purple instead of the auburn I asked for. Not only did she correct the color, but she was able to help me recognize my hair as an investment and helped me get it to a plays that it was healthy again. She’s always honest about what will look good or not, and she’s always explained to me that if a certain color isn’t obtainable in one visit, that she’s not going to thing my hair trying. She always has a plan for the best results the right way. She helped my hair become healthy and something to be proud of. I’d recommend everyone to Phyllis!!

I have been seeing Jody for 4 years now and she’s always done right by me and my hair. She’s honest, trustworthy, and very talented. I have attached some photos from looks we’ve done over the years. Tanisha Storey Phyllis has been doing my hair for years and has seen my hair through many stages; pregnancy, post-partum hair loss (twice!) and coloring my hair for the very first time. She has always been so patient with me and amazing at explaining her process in a way I can understand! She has always treated me and my hair with so much love and care and I can’t recommend her enough!! Anyone who sits in her chair is going to feel so seen and valued and walk away feeling amazing. Brenda Williams Was a first time customer and noticed immediately how clean the salon was and how friendly they were. I was fortunate enough to be squeezed in at the very end of the day and my haircut request was a simple layered cut with no blow dry (as a favor by me to save them time since they fit me in). This was done by Ray. I came back the following morning with a concern as to whether I needed my hair thinned out further as it wouldn’t lay like I was wanting after washing and blow drying it that morning at home. Ray not only explained that my hair texture was different from the model in the photo I used for the hair cut (mine is much thicker), but that the secret was the technique used in blow drying. He then immediately sat me in the chair and proceeded to show me how to blow dry it to achieve the look I was going for. The end result was precisely what I wanted and even my husband couldn’t believe the difference just by blow drying it correctly! Very impressed with his taking the time not only to explain about my hair texture but to actually give me a lesson on how to blow dry this cut correctly. I’ll most certainly return to him for all my hair needs. Thank you again Ray!

Sista Kb I was looking for someone in Ocala to do my hair. After hours of searching, I came across this website and booked an appointment. Quiana had to push the time back because I booked last minute. However, she communicated every step of the way. Meeting her was like reconnecting with someone that Id known for years!!! She made me feel very comfortable!!!!! Her price was super affordable, and the shop was beautifully set up!! I will be going back to her again!!!

Nilsa Carroll I went to Quiana at Micah’s Salon after impulsively chopping off half my hair (not my finest moment), and she completely saved the day. She was so patient and took her time to fix it, turning my mess into the a beautiful long bob. Her attention to detail was amazing, and the final result looked so polished! I walked out feeling so much better about my hair :)

Deborah Cox’s Karisa has been taking care of my family for over 20 years. I would be lost if she ever left Ocala. Highly professional. Knowledgeable, and someone whom I am proud to call my friend. I’ve recommended many to her salon and now I find I compete with them for appointments! I am complimented often for my hair color, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention her colorist skills.

Marisa Nance Karisa is the only stylist in 20 years who has ever been able to give me the haircut I actually wanted. She is a true professional with superior skills. I love that her studio is private and has personality- going to get my haircut feels like getting away from the world for an hour. After my very first appointment, I sent my husband and sons to her studio as well. I cannot recommend her enough- the best!

Cheryl Atwood Karisa is a phenomenal hair dresser. I’ve been going to her for 18 years. She is extremely thorough when giving a consultation and her main focus is your hair’s integrity. Her knowledge goes without saying. If you want beautiful and healthy hair, give her a call.

Jenn Schuler Karisa is the best! She is extremely knowledgeable about all things hair and color. Her goal isn’t to just make you happy with your style and color, but also to ensure your hair is healthy. Definitely recommend! My hair is much healthier now; it was heavily damaged from years of bleaching.

Candice Sullivan I brought my own dye. All she had to do was mix it with developer. She used the wrong developer number. The color did not take. She gave me the haircut she wanted to give me. She told me she didn’t shave sides. I tried to make it easy for her so I said to just trim it. I wanted bangs. I did not get bangs. I was charged $61 for a trim!! I am crying because this was supposed to be a treat for myself. I am disgusted! DO NOT GO HERE!!

Deborah Barckhausen I have been coming to Ruthy for haircuts and color for years and am always very happy with her work. My color is just like I want it and I get stopped around town by ladies asking me where I go - all the time! I even carry her business card in my purse for when they ask.

Kalli Martinez This place is going to be my new go-to! I got my haircut from Jeanie! She goes above and beyond. She listened to what I wanted, asked me questions, showed me how to properly style my bangs at home, and was just overall so sweet! They also offer so many other services from nails, massages, and bridal!

Jaci Goldsmith Love them all, the ladies at this salon are one of a kind. I go to Amie who is just the most beautiful, kind amazing person I have ever met. She is a magician when it comes to my hair and always leaving looking like a runway model. Unless I was forced, I would not leave this salon, I only trust my hair with Amie.

brittani scinlari Hope we very professional. Wrecked a bad bleach job by trying to do it myself and although it was impossible to get it to the color I wanted she was able to lighten it significantly without it falling out and still made it wearable. Baby steps but any other salon would most likely just tell me to go darker or completely ruin my hair. It still feels soft to the touch and looks healthy. Excited to get it to where I want it but super proud of the hairdresser for not pushing me past what my hair could take just because I wanted another color and was a little upset. Appreciate the honesty and that hair is still on my head. Would recommend her to anyone.

Keila (KeilaET) Ask for Josh, he is amazing!! I’ve gotten my hair done twice by him and each time has been hair ✨MAGIC ✨I’ve taken my mother and grandmother to him and they loved their hair as well! He can also give you a Brazilian blowout while still keeping your curls.

Jennifer Morford Kim did an amazing job on my hair! Both the cut and color came out perfect. Im always really nervous trying out someone new, but Im so happy to say that Kim is now my new go-to!

liz Rod Josh is the best! #1 in town he has excellent customer service and is super caring. He loves what he does and takes care of your hair. If you are looking for a hairstylist stop looking because you just found him. You will not regret it going to him.

Kimberly Drexel Love the setup of this salon! Each stylist has their own individual room. The building has bathrooms and is always clean. April Lacey is amazing. Shes friendly, professional, and a wonderful stylist. Shes styled my hair while its been long and short. Cant say enough good things about her!

jibabc1 I have naturally curly (dry) blonde greying 2b curls. Karen Terry does such an aMAzing job ! My hair won’t hold toner so she lifts the highlights perfectly, no need for toner. I bring web images and she explains which parts of haircuts will work, which won’t work, then combines them to get the look I want. She is truly a hair artist ! room 114

Jessica Long I personally started seeing Mallari Collums, owner of Amethyst Hair Studio, located within My Salon Suite of Ocala about a year ago. First of all, the concept was a first for me, but refreshing. My Salon Suite feels high end, safe and secure. The location is easy to get to and has plenty of parking and is well lit. As for Mallari, I have never been more pleased with my hair. She is quick but thorough, quiet and kind, creative and confident in her work, and has comparable prices. I would recommend My Salon Suites to both men, woman and children, and all ethnicities. There is something for everyone here and everyone working within this space is inviting and friendly. Erik Toner My wife decided to try a new stylist - after some problems with her previous stylist. Upon recommendation from my stepdaughter, my wife went on her first visit to Missy. I usually accompany my wife on her hair appointments, so I naturally went along earlier today. First, I would like to point out that Missys salon is very warm and inviting and she made us feel like family at her home! She is very sincere, honest, and genuine. Like myself, she is a native Floridian, so I felt extra comfortable. She was immensely helpful and dedicated in helping fix the slight problems with my wifes hair. She did a very thorough consultation and performed an amazing hairstyling - at least, in my opinion and my limited knowledge. Also, all three of us had a very heart-to-heart conversation - which was most profound and special as this was our first contact with her. She kept me involved in my wifes procedure and talked me through what she was doing... much appreciated, Missy! Im sure my wife will be her newest permanent client, and if I had any appreciable hair left on my balding head, I would trust her with my hair too! (ha ha!) If any of you ladies or gentlemen need a talented and down-to-earth hairstylist, please keep Missy in mind. On behalf of my wife, thank you very much, Missy!

Christine Trantino Adriane is very professional and really knows her business! Ive been going to her for several years now, even before she opened her shop in Ocala. Her prices are always good and her work is great! She will listen to what you want, which is one of the biggest problems Ive found with other stylists...they just dont listen. Give her a try...you wont be sorry!

Carley Loggains Ive been seeing Aryanna for nails. She is so thorough and detailed in her designs. She is gentle and knowledgeable and loves to teach her clients how to better take care of their nails while keeping them healthy. Her prices can’t be beat especially for the quality of work that she provides. I drive 2+ hours just to see her because I know I wouldn’t be able to find anyone that would compare to her. The salon is always a good vibe, clean, it’s obvious that the staff are all very close with each other and enjoy working in the salon. HIGHLY recommend.

Krista Dow-Richards After searching for a new nail tech for what felt like forever, I finally found Aryanna and I couldn’t be happier. Every time I come in and show her a picture of what nails I would like to have done she has nailed it. I get so many compliments on how beautiful my nails are after she has done them. I always thought I was hard on my nails and usually had multiple broken ones before I got back to my previous nails tech (every 2-3 weeks), and now I know it was just poor quality I was receiving because I have never once broken a nail after getting them from Aryanna. She not only does beautiful work but quality work.

Kimberly Serig I went to this salon to see Megan, as she came highly recommended and had many reviews. Ive seen her a few times now for just a hair cut, and shes given me quite literally the best hair cuts Ive ever had. Not everyone is great at cutting hair, and shes done a great job. Also I really appreciate when she finds herself running behind with clients, she will personally call me and ask if I can come in a little later. If you need a hair stylist definitely give her a try!

Rdz Rdz First of all I just wanted to say I’m very disappointed with the performance of this salon I had my hair done last week and I was near a stylist that just had the awful smell of cannabis and as I asked who she was it turns out she is the owners sister Megan. I seriously think that is unprofessional your habits and personal life are not anyone’s business but to be sitting there taking in the smell to me was degrading I will not book a appointment again in fact I will spread the word. Jordan honey seriously you need to consider your business and its reputation just because family is family doesn’t mean it’s okay for the business. On another note the stylist that did do my hair was great it was just what I smelled that baffled me. I really hope you consider my opinions and direct your staff in the importance of physical appearance thank you

Zion Haze Anna did an amazing job cutting my 11-year-old sons hair! She was patient, friendly, and really took the time to make sure the cut was just right. My son loved the experience, and his haircut looks fantastic. Well definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Gina Viera A week before New Year’s Eve, I visited the salon for a consultation to address the mess caused by another stylist, leaving my hair with multiple colors. During the consultation, I was advised to return on New Year’s Eve for an appointment with Brandy. Although I had never met Brandy before, I had read great reviews about her. Before starting, she asked about my budget and explained what she could do to help fix my hair. I really appreciated that she took the time to understand my needs and concerns. I was nervous about the outcome, but Brandy did an incredible job repairing the damage caused by a previous stylist. Brandy, thank you for understanding my vision, being so professional, and showing kindness throughout the process. I couldn’t be happier with the results and will definitely be back!

Ehlers Paige “Ash” Hayley was amazing! I never dyed my hair before and all I knew was I wanted to “go red”. She was very knowledgeable and very kind. Not only did I get an amazing color, but layers and a trim that were much needed as well. I am naturally a dark brown and we got a wonderful red without bleach. I am in awe with the results! Can’t wait to return!

Ruth Gutierrez I scheduled an appointment with Heidi, she was understanding of working with my curly 3a/3b hair texture. My hair was between mid-lower back and I was looking for a long mermaid/buttefly style. The only thing I would have emphasized was to retain a little bit more of the length. I take care of my hair, but it was overdue for a proper trim, so I can understand if a little length had to be taken off to achieve the look. Overall, I do enjoy the new look so am pleased with the overall experience!

C C Tiffany is great with curly hair! She’s got ALL the training, skills, and artistry. She is also super fun and wonderful to chat with. If you’re a curly girl, I’d definitely recommend seeing Tiffany to get those curls poppin!

I love that they use the best of the best in products and I have very healthy hair. Never in 15 years have I ever had a bad style, color or cut. Needless to say when I leave their shop I am strutting my stuff....... I highly recommend you make an appointment and experience all they have to offer.......you will not be disappointed.

Rita Zahn Salon WOW has very experienced colorists and stylists. Its an upscale salon, but with a funky and laid back feel. I definitely recommend! Ive never seen anyone leave the salon without an amazing cut, color and style. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and attentive with the best atmosphere. The owner, Sara is my stylist for life!

January My hair stylist was Tiffany. She was a delight. I had a color, cut and blow dry. I think the prices were avarage not cheap but not outrageous either. She really tries to give you what you are asking for. Shes very accommodating. The place has very good, positive vibes and is beautifully decorated by the owner herself. They even give you plastic sleeves for your reading glasses to protect them from the dye while you are getting your hair colored.

Maryanne Poling Due to certain circumstances, I am unable to do my own pedicure anymore. For me, this is medically necessary. So I searched and searched and looked up LuDawn On their website, which is very easy to navigate. They put their prices on everything and explain everything in detail. It’s amazing. So I booked an appointment online without seeing anyone or checking it out in person like I usually do. I did not feel like I needed to go in person Before booking an appointment, which is VERY Unusual for me. There were I think four or five pedicure technicians I could choose from. This might sound funny, but to me, it was the answer! Dawn Had one appointment left at 2:30 PM and everyone else had several appointments. So my way of thinking was that she was very popular and very good at what she did. Not that the others aren’t that was just My way of thinking. Well, let me tell you what… It was an amazing relaxing Professional pedicure. You just don’t get a pedicure. It is very obvious Dawn does this to help people. For myself, she listened to me and became my friend all at once. I just can’t say enough wonderful kind things about Dawn. The ambience in the spa salon is something I have really never seen before or experience before. You walking in the door are warmly greeted and it smells amazing! Everything is spotless and fresh and clean. The people that work there besides Dawn We’re just as warm and friendly as Dawn was. I might add one more thing…Dawn Has a private room with one pedicure chair and you get her full attention. I have already made an appointment to go back and I feel very comfortable recommending this spa salon and I don’t make recommendations!

Lori McDonald Due to disabilities Im not able to do my own toe nails. My son gave me a gift card and I used it on my birthday. For some reason the person it was scheduled with didnt take me and I was given to a lovely young lady Brianna. She was warm, caring, and gentle. You see I suffer from a painful illness and the slightest touch, vibration or movement causes excruciating pain. Brianna took her time and made certain I was comfortable every step of the way. This young lady is an asset to this business.

Pedro Bolanos Scheduled an appointment for my wife for our 42 anniversary. She loved the Royal package with the facial, Swedish massage and hair style and shampoo. Alariah, Kristen, and Nanette were professional and took care in pampering my wife. She was happy and relaxed when I pick her up ready for our dinner date. I highly recommend visiting LuDawn Spa & Salon for a full treatment of health and wellness.

Laura Gibson I get my hair done by Kristen and have never been disappointed, whether Im in for a trim or a color. All the staff are so nice, and the atmosphere is very calming and relaxing. They have water, hot tea, and coffee available. I havent gone in for anything other than hair appointments, but would like to experience the other spa services.

Terry Baskin I take my 88 year old mom here to get her pedicures done. They were recommended by her doctor. Its so much better than the cookie cutter pedicures that you get at a strip mall site.

Casey Heathman Ive been coming to Krissys All About You Salon for years. My stylist Katie Janel is the best in the city and I dare say, the state. I will not anyone but Katie touch my hair. I cant tell you how many people compliment me on my hair. Yes, I know its vain, but its important in my industry to look my best. Theresa I get my nails done there by Amber Rose and never have any problems with them. I just went three or four weeks with absolutely no lifting or chipping.

Brittney Cain This is my first time going to a salon in Ocala. Amber made my first experience amazing. I received a pedicure and every single second was amazing.
