Destiny Iwaniusz Kelsey is amazing! She has been my go to for a couple months now and I always bleach my hair and it comes out amazing. She also knows how to work with my hair it’s thick and naturally curly so it’s a mess to work with but she never struggles. I 10/10 recommend Kelsey for all your hair needs!

Summer Morgan Kelsey is so kind and really listens to what you want for you hair. Highly recommend this salon and all the stylists in it!

Cayla Leviner Ashley always does an amazing job! I highly recommend her. The atmosphere is cozy and warm!

Alexis Sarver So much talent under one roof! Stylists, esthetician, a tanning specialist, etc. Truly a one stop shop! The interior is so aesthetic and relaxing. You’ll never want to leave.

Madison Radenhausen Danni was so great to work with. She made things super easy and then did a beautiful job on my hair for my wedding. Coming in from out of town made it difficult to come in for a trial, but Danni was great with communication and she was able to make my vision happen. She very kindly was able to accommodate some last minute add ins to the schedule as well. I could not recommend Danni enough!

Sam Danni was absolutely amazing!! She did my hair for my destination wedding along with my 5 bridesmaids and mother-in-law! I didn’t get to do a trial, so I was very nervous. She did my hair exactly how I wanted it! It was just beautiful!! My girls all loved theirs as well! She also has the best personality and made us all feel like we were family. Brenna Flach I’ve been coming to Salon Zen for several months now. Brittany has been doing my hair for years, and she is amazing! I always love coming to have my hair done by her because it’s like meeting up with a good friend while getting beautified. She is always very meticulous about asking questions and understanding exactly what I want done to my hair, and when I’m not even sure, she has great suggestions! During my most recent appointment, Brittany cut off several inches of my hair so we could donate it to Wigs for Kids. I really wanted to donate it, and Brittany had even done the research to find out what organization would take my donation since my hair is colored. After cutting it, she colored it a beautiful violet-red, like I asked, and then blow-dried it and curled it. It looked beautiful! I also had my eyebrows waxed by Cova, who was very friendly and did a great job. All of the staff at Salon Zen are wonderful and so nice, and the salon itself is lovely, too. I highly recommend Salon Zen for anyone who is looking!!

Kala Mixon My experience was the best and my stylist Jules was literally AMAZING! I walked out feeling like a brand new woman. Jules is a miracle worker for sure! My hair was awful when I walked in and she didn’t hesitate to jump right in for the challenge! I’d recommend this salon and Jules to anyone! You will not be disappointed.

Kathryn Wandmacher Mia is the best stylist ever. I have really fine thin hair and she always cuts it to where I can style it and it grows out great.

Cassie McClellan MIA is the best! The salon and service is excellence and comfort. She accommodates my work schedule when I can’t get in durning normal business hours. She’s the only person on-island I trust with a whole new look-I mean taking a big step going to bangs! She’s been my go-to for years, in fact my whole family now goes to her, my daughter, my parents, my boyfriend and my brother. She’s so accurate with her cuts, right down to having measurements on the comb! She is precise at matching my color every single time or covering my grays. She’s given my kid the best summer pink/purple/rainbow fun hair and the latest trending hair styles. She’s helped me decide how to cut my bangs, how to grow out my bangs, how to make my routine super easy and effortless or how to grow it out. I walk out of the salon looking and feeling my best, every, single time. The salon is always clean and professional. She is very efficient and knows what she’s doing, I trust her with my locks. It’s nice when I get in there overlapping color appointments with my girlfriends and we can catch up over a glass of wine. She’s consistent, considerate and downright hilarious! But her appointments could go for a pretty penny on the black market, so book sooner rather than later.

Ansley has been my hair stylist for years and will be for LIFE! I can’t say enough good things about Ansley and her services she’s offers. From the day I started going to her she’s been super helpful in helping me articulate what I’m waiting for my hair color. I usually go pretty blonde which can be really tricky trying to decide what shade I want to maintain but thankful for her willingness to walk me through all my options and nail them every time!!! Samantha Parker Chloe is the best stylist I’ve ever been to in the 15 years I’ve been coloring my hair. Not only is she personable, she’s informative & incredibly talented. While I’m in the salon, it feels like home. Everyone talks to everyone, we laugh, share recipes & stories. It truly feels like a family which makes a great atmosphere!

Aiden Malloch This place is a hidden gem for haircuts. Never knew of the location until I was recommended to come visit! The main stylist, Meg, is absolutely the best and is willing to work with you in any sort of way to find a style that works for you. Ive had two haircuts thus far from her and I can certainly confirm that she is the only person Id ever want cutting my hair at this point. The first time was an experiment experience as I had grown out my hair after a bad haircut from another barber. There was much more work and care that had to be done to have my hair styled her way. The end product was amazing as I always had to lie through my teeth from past experiences but that time I was truthful and stunned with how my hair had looked. I had only described barely something that I had wanted and she went to work and nailed it. Now that she has a Google review page I can properly give her the review she deserved and hopefully bring more business to her! Thanks again Meg!

BTL CINC Found Gib years ago, nestled in the heart of the historic district. Talk about finding gold at the end of the rainbow! I am over 60 and in all my life I have never known anyone who knows hair like he does. He takes his time, he gives you one-on-one service, you are not processed. You will leave looking and feeling like a new person! And his studio is nestled in an incredible park like setting. If you have not gone yet, you do not know what you are missing. Gib truly is a one-of-a-kind artist!

Rosanna Psulkowski THERE IS NO BETTER!!!!! Fernandina Beach is blessed to have Mr Gib in our town! Gib is incredibly talented, he has the eyes and hands of a true artiste! I have visited possibly every hairdresser on and off of the island and nobody even comes close…..To know Gib is to love him!!!! Ashley Shrader Jose done a great job on my 2 year old toddler. I’m stoked at how well my son done with him. I can not recommend this place enough to anyone. I was greeted and checked in immediately upon arrival. Not to mention I Was out of there in no time. Very clean establishment also. I was embarrassed about the flea my son had though on his head. His dog must be right up next to him at all times. But Jose never made me feel uncomfortable about it. I urge you to check out this place. Did I mention he squeezed us in on his schedule. Thank you for a job well done. My baby now looks like a young gentleman.

Mariette Goble To say that Lika did an incredible job with my 1.5 year old’s first haircut is an understatement!! She is skilled in what she does and did an excellent job cutting his hair and she also just made the entire experience so sweet and memorable for our family — we took photos, she kept the first cut, and spoke to and treated my son like he was truly her client by making sure she familiarized him with the tools she was using to cut his hair (letting him touch, showing him the spray bottle, etc). 100000% will be coming back!

Jovan I got the Classic Facial and it was such a nice treat! Lots of different masks (one smelled like chocolate which I loved). The table I laid on was warm the whole time which was a nice touch and I got a damp hot towel on my face after/during every mask which felt amazing! Also, had some extractions and a shoulder/upper back/neck massage along with the facial massages to round everything out. It was so relaxing! Definitely recommend!

Robal Olarte A pretty and comfortable salon with experienced and thoughtful staff. My aunt recommended me to her stylist James who is also the owner he is so booked up it would be a month before he could take me. I asked if he could recommend a stylist who was good with short cuts. He recommended Diann Burns not only is she friendly but a very good stylist. I use her exclusively because she does a work.

J Whikehart Finding a new stylist and/or colorist can be stressful when moving to a new area. Add in the different climate/humidity changes, along with chemical differences in the water, I soon found my hair becoming more dry and an unmanageable frizzy mess. Top that off with a couple of bad and costly cuts from other salons. Then about a year ago, I found James at Creative Hair Studio! In little time my hair was back to the gleam and feel it once had. The grow out a bit longer. BUT what a difference a talented stylist and quality products (I do color, highlights and smoothing treatments) can do! I highly recommend this salon. I wished I had found James sooner!
