Em Blue I recently went to The Secret Salon and Spa for a haircut and electrolysis, and I was really impressed! The staff was so friendly from the moment I walked in, and the salon had a relaxing, modern vibe that made me feel comfortable right away. For my haircut, the stylist listened carefully to what I wanted and even gave great suggestions to improve my look. They paid a lot of attention to detail, and I left with one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. I got so many compliments! The electrolysis service was just as good. The technician was professional and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. She explained everything clearly so I knew what to expect, and the results were fantastic – smooth skin that lasted. I could tell she really cares about her work. If youre looking for great service, whether for haircuts or electrolysis, I highly recommend them! I’m excited to go back!

Begonia I came here to accompany someone who had a hair appointment. The majority of the people working here are extremely rude, starting with the Peruvian woman (I only know where she is from because she came over to talk to us and told us where she was from) who does nails. She was incredibly arrogant and rude, and the woman who did my mother-in-laws hair did not even do a great job for what she charged her. I would not recommend this overpriced, poor-quality establishment.

Vicky Proctor I had a wonderful manicure & pedicure by Monica. She is using the best products ! She’s wonderful with facial’s ! I had done wax highly recommended because it is hypoallergenic! Back treatment it was amazing! It was my spa day. Great place!

Katrina Hanford actually, the most incompetent nail salon I have ever been to. I asked them to do French nails, which is the most universal thing in the nail community. not only could they not do my French nails, but did not understand when I asked them to do the way that they normally come. I had to leave and come back and was there for almost an extra 30 minutes because they could not do a simple French. I ended up leaving with plain white nails for $65 and I am pissed. never will I be coming back to this place again

Maria Dingle It was my first time here. My regular place was closed on Mondays so I looked on Google for the closes one and this was open. I did a pedicure and a manicure with gel and it was great! The place was very clean and nice. It’s not a huge place, it’s small but they do the things right! I loved that they were not in a hurry and were just taking their time specially on my pedicure that I enjoy the most. So far so good! Will come back.

Monika Horava My husband booked me a massage here as a gift on our vacation. I had a baby recently and just ran a half marathon so I’ve been experiencing some tension in my body. Gen was fantastic! It was one of the best massage experiences I’ve ever had. She suggested trigger point and pressure point release massage techniques along with intentional breathing to help release tension. It helped so much. I would highly recommend going to Gen Spa! Such a great experience!

Jonaida Sadaba Gen is super amazing. I was in a lot of pain. I had severe headache and she calls me back and she taught me what to do over the phone and I follow her instructions and she fixed my pain by phone. I met her in Dipolog city while she was visiting in their church Gods Compassion and Healing Church. She touched my shoulder and head. Amazing that there was no pain. She can really help you heal even over the phone. Thank you Gen. If you are experiencing pain please visit her spa GEN SPA or call her if you are not near her spa.

jenette joseph Over priced Unsanitary salon, side of my toes was inflame with fluid the next day after pedicure and manicure. He told me “ he don’t know, its nothing he could do, it had to get worse for him to take the polish off and take a look at it. I had to go to the hospital and I had a whole infection. Even if you look at my thumb in the pic you’ll see how he drilled to close to my cuticle that he was drilling the skin. It’s all about the money they don’t care if you come back, I’m not surprised because its not the cleanliness salon, won’t see me again. They over priced because the don’t get enough customer and the ones they do get they charge them an arm and a leg. The man in the first seat when you first walk in, he supposed to be the “best one” Not at all . I love getting my nails done and this not it? Nails grow out in a weak foundation not good and infected nooo I don’t play like that

harlaineable Terrible service. Got my nails done on 11/11/22 by 11/13/22 4 nails out of 10 was loose, I returned once they opened 11/14/22, requested they fixed their work. The nail Tech John got upset because I said they over charged me $75 just for full set, and asked me to return the next day when David returns (paid $118 for toes nail polish change and tipped him $20.) I’ve lived near that nail shop since 1999 met the several owners. I stoped going there, and this reminded me why. I graced them with my presence because my nail tech at l’amour nails is out of town.

ANGELA ROBERSON I stopped in yesterday for a pedicure, nails and lashes and it was by far the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had in any salon ever! I paid $53 just for a gel pedicure and my toe is so sore today I can’t put my shoe on but that’s not even the reason for the complaint. If I could give negative stars or zero I would. After getting my pedicure I go sit to get my nails done. I get dipping powder and the guy doesn’t even remove the old powder but instead puts an acrylic fill and proceeds to paint on top of the powder. The color underneath was dark so it made my nails 2 different tones. I immediately stopped him and said I asked for a fresh set of nails. He proceeds to tell me “next time I do”. Even after I told him this was not what I asked for or want and it looks awful he proceeds to try to make me give h a thumbs up and tells me $40 for a fill and paint. The entire experience from how they treated me to the shoddy work the did was beyond egregious. I had to go to somewhere else to get my nails fixed. Spend your money elsewhere is my advice.

Alyssa The lady doing my pedi was horrible. I believe her name was Annie; and if she’s the owner, that’s not a good look. First she cut my toes down to nothing, cut my skin to where I bleed, and then the polish was so sloppy, my toes look led like a globs of white paint, and I was expected to pay $40 for a pedi I could of done better myself.

Linda Demartinis I had a Pedi and Mani with Annie, I was so relaxed I didnt want to leave. My Pedi and Mani was beautiful, while she was doing my pedicure, women in the salon were commenting on my manicure how beautiful it looked. I am new to Annies Hair and Nails, I would definitely recommend it!! Annie is a hard worker and does a great job and wants to please you. Her prices are RIGHT!!!

Gi Pzcarnelli Wonderful! Shes very attentive and makes certain that I love the job she is doing. If I have any questions or concerns Annie always reasons to accommodate my needs. Shes so awesome and down to earth! I recommend this her place of business! Everyone is welcomed !!

tykiria simmons TRACY!!!!! Is THEE absolute BEST!! She was so sweet , patient , personable & took her time with me. I showed her exactly what I wanted and she followed through. The environment was very relaxing and very clean / neat. I live in Jupiter but & cannot find a nail tech as great as her! Moving forward I will be driving an hour way every 3 weeks just for her! 1000/1000 recommend.

Michelle Belmond Today I visited this beautiful and clean salon because my professional nail tech, Ethan, moved locations and I needed to my nails done and as usual they came out STUNNING! I have long almond shaped nails and after the acrylic is applied and the gel polish and even sometimes the nail art, they NEVER lift and they last for weeks!! Ethan never disappoints. I also get my pedicures done so Im matchy matchy with my nails. This place is just lovely and my Ethan is FANTASTIC!! Thank you Ethan and thank you Blue Nail Spa for having amazing colors and all the cat eye colors selection as well. See you on my regular scheduled appointments.

Mishelle Sebastian I had an incredible experience with Danny today! I was hesitant at first because I’ve had disappointing experiences in the past when it comes to getting the perfect almond shape. However, after reading so many positive reviews about Danny, I decided to give him a try—and I’m so glad I did! Not only did he nail the exact shape I wanted, but he also took the time to educate me on nail shape techniques and design to help achieve my desired look. His attention to detail and skill are unmatched, and I truly appreciate the effort he puts into his work. I’ll definitely be returning to Danny for all my future nail appointments. Davia Molina The Wow Studio for the Win! I have been consistently going to the wow studio for 3 years now and I can confidently say there is no one who is doing it like them. My girl Vivi always takes very good care of me and always makes sure I am more than 100% satisfied with the services. She also always encourages me to try new things and thanks to her, my manicure actually lasts me with their luminary system. My nails have been able to grow, remain healthy, and look like acrylics but they’re my own natural nails!! The staff in general is always so welcoming and helpful. They also really take pride in their cleanliness as a salon and always have the best of the best. I always get a gel luminary manicure with a gel pedicure. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Nadine Salon is cute and clean, everyone is really friendly. I’m so happy with my gel manicure, the technician really took her time to make sure my nails came out perfect. Definitely recommend!

Esther Haughton I had the best pedicure and eyebrows waxed by Dari today!. She took her time and explained everything to me about the health of my nails and assisted me with choosing the best service as my big toe nail was damaged. My first appointment was made over the phone with Wendy with ease and I walked in to a clean pleasant environment. Dari greeted me with a warm welcome and started attending to me immediately. Really comfortable and relaxing and professional service. Also got my eyebrows done and came out perfect!. Definitely found my new Salon and Spa and will be back for sure. Jane Girling Wendy is awesome. Booked a hydrafacial When I saw that they had a special price, I’ve had Hydro facials before ( way more expensive) and this was by far the best. Very relaxing experience She got every black or white head She does not do the hard upsell that many do. Mine I also had facial waxing and she did an oxygen red led light treatment that I never had before all and it was a wonderful experience and I will be back! Highly recommend her!!

Christine Koester I went in wanting a new set of pink/white acrylic nails. The extensions were poorly matched, very uneven. The acrylic began lifting 5 days after, they did not even make it a week. It was much worse on the right hand than the left causing me to think the woman must have missed a step. The acrylic was uneven and very thick towards the back of the nail bed. I feel like it is my fault as I went about a month earlier and had the dip put on and had the same issue but it was a different technician. I will not be going back to this salon. I went to another salon in the next shopping place and the woman there was able to fix the disaster. You can see on the left hand how the acrylic is still very close to the nail bed while on the right hand out looks like I havent been to get my fills in 6 weeks. Highly recommend somewhere else.

Jaclyn Szakall My nail technician did a wonderful job. Took her time and really did an awesome job. I got Nexgen on my nails and it is beautiful. It is my first time there and I will continue to go there. Clean establishment with very nice, warm, and welcoming staff members.

MultifacetedDani I just got home from Ava and I have to say that I have never experienced a nail salon like this one. They were so friendly and made me feel right at home. Yuni (sorry if I misspelled her name) did an amazing job on my feet. I didnt feel one single ounce of pain. She took her time and did a fabulous job! Then Peter did that new nail system (I forgot what its called) and that came out fantastic. The same goes to him as well, no pain and a wonderful job. I highly recommend them! I will definitely continue to see them. Thank you Ava!

Jennifer Caccavale I recently visited my mother in Pompano and was looking for a spa to get massages with her and my sister-in-law. I came across Spa De La Vie, and we couldnt have been happier with our experience. The spa itself was very nice and clean, and we were all offered a mimosa at check-in (love that!). Despite running late, they were incredibly kind and accommodating, and we never felt rushed. I had Julianna for my massage, and she was wonderful and so sweet! It was a great massage, and she constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable throughout the service. My mom and sister-in-law saw Andrea and Frank, and everyone was thrilled with their service. We will definitely be back!

Kayla Palmer Lovely couples massage at Spa De La Vie with Katy and Tam! My husband and I were welcomed with mimosas and so pampered during our couples massage. This one of the best full body massages I’ve ever had! We left feeling so relaxed and will definitely visit again on our next Pompano trip. Vilma Kerenyi This was my first time here and it did not disappoint!! I got the gel x nail extensions and it was done perfectly!! The studio was also very clean, pretty and well organized!! Matthew was very kind and super talanted, he was able to do exactly what i asked for with perfection!! Will be coming back any time im in Fort Lauderdale!!!

Bailey Kane Matthew is the best nail tech in Fort Lauderdale. He is funny and cares about his clients. He does the best work and is very meticulous. If you’re in Fort Lauderdale, check out his studio, you will not regret it.

Charyce Solven The manager (Jen? I can’t remember) was incredibly rude to the woman who did my pedicure. My hands look terrible- I have long natural nails with acrylic overlay and they took them from almond to a weird oval shape. The paint is inconsistent, looks lumpy, and the edges are rough and ugly. They didn’t touch the cuticles on my hands and they painted over the acrylic dust after shaping instead of having me rinse my hands. They also injured my cuticles with the drill. This is my third time giving this salon a chance in the last year and a half and each time it has been more trouble than it is worth. The first visit the manager was rude to my friend and I, the second the tech made several of my fingers bleed. Overpriced for the quality- though Maria did an exceptional job on my pedicure. I will never be back. Horrible customer service and poor quality. *Edit* This is absolutely the correct salon, I recognize The address, interior, and photos of the owner/manager. I may have her name incorrect- I heard a j name and am hard of hearing. The manager, short female, talked shit about the woman who did my pedicure to me as she was working on my nails. My review is accurate to my 3 experiences and will remain up. I was there January 7th, 2025 in the early afternoon. My pedicure was immaculate, the work on my hands and the manager’s nasty attitude were not. Hopefully the woman who did my pedicure quit, because she was absolutely a sweet and kind woman. Nobody deserves to be disrespected, especially in front of clients. If this is the manager I am replying to, you should be ashamed. I hope people see my review and steer clear of this nail salon. For reference I’ve included a photo of the manager from another post. You could not pay me enough to come back.

Phoebe Dybner Absolutely loved Tipsy Nail Bar. Got the coolest cat eye navy nails. Julie and Danny did such a great job. They were efficient and worked with us to figure out what we wanted.

Jaylen Jenkins I recently visited and I can honestly say it was the worst nail salon experience Ive ever had. From the moment I walked in, the staff seemed disinterested and unfriendly. I waited over 30 minutes past my appointment time, only to be rushed through my manicure. The tools they used looked dirty and unsterilized, which made me question their hygiene practices. When I finally got seated, the nail technician was inattentive and seemed to lack basic skills. My nails were uneven, and the polish application was sloppy with bubbles and streaks. To top it all off, the salon was incredibly noisy and chaotic, making it impossible to relax. I left feeling more stressed than when I arrived and had to go home and fix my nails myself. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. Save your time and money and go somewhere else! *Definitely have the right salon bless your heart can’t even recognize your staff’s signature art* edited

A Tresch I am a snowbird and have visited this nail salon last year as well. This time my technician was Brian and by far it was my best nail salon experience ever. He was absolutely fantastic. I had a pedicure (perfect pressure massage) and gel fill and ombré French manicure. I saw a negative review on here and don’t understand it. I do think they had the wrong place. The salon is quiet and well run and the technicians are very skilled and the tools are all sealed from being run through the autoclave. I will definitely be back.

dajia amaro THE BEST NAIL ARTIST EVER! Victoria is so attentive and takes her time for VIP service. Victoria is very creative with nail designs at great prices. I refuse to use any other salon. I get to go to Ward City Discount Store and shop before and after my appointments too because the salon is in this beautiful store. Go see her ASAP!
