1 /5 Elijah: I made the terrible mistake of moving all of my finances over to Schwab a couple of months ago because they supposedly have the best debit card in the industry for travel, and I am traveling on a world wide vacation this year. Words cannot begin to describe my level of hatred for this company at this point. Literally every single day, without fail, they decide to block my debit card and stop me from making transactions, which means I then have to make a 20-minute phone call to ask them for permission to please allow me to spend my money. EVERY SINGLE DAY. Imagine trying to enjoy a vacation and being constantly held up trying to make a call like this over and over and OVER AGAIN. And the best part, of course, is that I cannot change banks now because I am not in the United States so I am stuck with this POS bank for the rest of my trip. I cannot urge you enough to avoid banking here. Reviewing my phone log for the past two weeks, I have spent more than 3 HOURS on the phone with Schwab, and the conversation is always the same. Im trying to buy something and my card is blocked. Please unblock it. DAY AFTER DAY DAY AFTER DAY AFTER DAY.
