5 /5 Christie Perkins: Cannot say enough great things about this studio.
First, the app to schedule classes is easy to use and well organized, the prices are reasonable compared to other places in town, and when you have a monthly subscription with them, they let you pause for up to 90 days if you have travel or injuries or whatever prevents you from attending.
The instructors are very well trained and supportive, particularly for people who are new.
I would definitely recommend taking the intro class because there is a learning curve with the equipment and the movements.
The best part about it, of course, is the workout. I’ve been physically active with weights in the gym for the past 30 years of my life and there is no work out like this that gives me such amazing results. Not only do I feel stronger in my core, legs, abs, and pretty much the whole body, I’ve been able to cut down on the pain from a hip labral tear. My orthopedic doctor advised me to take reformer Pilates to build the muscle around the hip rather than have surgery and she was 100% right. I have so much less pain in my knee, where I have a torn meniscus, and my hip.
They have a studio in Collegetown as well and hopefully they’ll open one in North Tallahassee soon enough, but I would drive across town anytime just to get this work out.
