3 /5 NICK MENNELL: I’ve gone to this LA Fitness location a few times now, and overall, its been a decent experience that meets most of my fitness needs.
The gym has a good (typical LA Fitness) layout with plenty of space, and it rarely feels overcrowded even during peak hours. The staff is friendly and helpful - always willing to answer questions or provide assistance when needed. The locker rooms are generally clean, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming for both serious fitness enthusiasts and casual gym-goers.
What keeps this location from earning more stars is the condition of some of the equipment. Several machines were out of order during my recent visits (with those "Sorry, Out of Order" signs that seem to have been there for weeks). Much of the cardio equipment appears outdated compared to other fitness centers in the area, and some weight machines show significant wear and tear.
The Power Smoothie bar inside is a nice touch, and the group fitness classes offer good variety, though the schedule could be more accommodating for those who work traditional hours.
If LA Fitness would invest in updating their equipment and ensuring faster maintenance of broken machines, this location could easily be a 4 or 5-star facility. Still, its a solid option for a standard gym experience in Palm Beach Gardens if you dont mind working around a few out-of-commission machines.
