1 /5 Fred Johnson: Attorney Daniel Pulido of Lulich and Attorneys represented a client of my construction company in a dispute he had with us. We wasted several hours going over the same information with her because of her complete lack of understanding of the concepts involved. Email after email we had to repeat over and over until she finally grasped her client had no legitimate complaint.
And then when her client was in default of his bank loan, we got to a place where her client was going to be foreclosed on, sued by the bank for more than $100,000, and my company was going to also lose $25,000. But there was a possible option where this could be avoided and neither one of us would lose anything. It was a no-brainer for her client to accept. But he was too ignorant, or too suspicious, to understand this and pursue the other option. I asked Atty Pulido to help explain this to him so he would understand it was by far in his best interest to pursue the option, but she refused...stating this was outside her realm of help for him.
This is nonsense. She could have helped if she wanted to. If she operated in the realm of being a caring human being she would have tried. It would only have taken a short phone call. But instead she allowed her client to make an unbelievably stupid decision which will cost him and his wife more than $100,000 over the next many years as their assets are seized and wages garnished; and she has cost my company $25,000.
She will most likely respond to this and say she was somehow prohibited from speaking to her client about this. Dont believe that nonsense. She could have done it if she wanted to and would have done it if she had any heart of caring at all.
