1 /5 Carl J Voss: Michael Keibers office handled the closing of a villa that we sold back in March, 2023. On November 6, 2023 we were informed that they made a mistake on assigning the pro-rated taxes and now tell us we owe over $1700 in taxes, that we were credited for instead of the buyer. It was pointed out that we signed, as part of the many closing documents, that we would cooperate if a clerical error was discovered.
At what point is a professional responsible for what they are supposed to be handling and are getting paid to do? If they cant get a matter such as this correct, it makes me wonder how well they can do in other, more complicated, legal matters!! Why pay an attorney when they truly take no responsibility for their mistake?? I would steer clear of depending on this attorney and his staff to handle your legal needs!
