    Deliza Delia: ZERO stars if I could: I have not encountered such poor customer service in quite some time—likely because I generally choose not to frequent establishments that operate in this manner. My husband and I stopped in while waiting for the rain to pass and decided to inquire about having his Cuban link chain appraised. A young woman with long dark hair approached us to “assist.” When we asked if we could have the chain appraised, the exchange went as follows: Customer: Can I get this appraised here? Employee: Yes, but I just work here. So no, I can’t do that for you. Customer: (confused) Okay, so then how does an appraisal work? Employee: The jeweler. He’s the professional, and he does that. And I told you he wasn’t here. At no point prior to this did she inform us that the jeweler was unavailable. Instead, the interaction came across as dismissive, unprofessional, and unnecessarily rude—leaving the impression that she had no interest in earning our business. Establishments should be mindful of the staff they place on the front line, as one poor interaction can easily discourage potential customers from ever returning.

    Kim Friedman: My “nice” watch needed a new battery and I brought it to a store in Longwood, who is known for their inexpensive battery replacement. Usually it takes minutes to replace a battery at this place, but 45 min later, they were still attempting to get the back plate screwed on correctly. They blamed the delay on the tiny screws, needing a smaller screw driver. The plate was not level and I was concerned with water seepage. I drove directly to Sams, and without me mentioning what happened, they immediately commented the watch was not assembled correctly. It cost more than expected but they also cleaned the band and used a superior battery compared to the other place. I will only bring our watches to Sams from now on. You get what you pay for! The service was professional and they are knowledgeable. There is a reason they have been in Lake Mary for 30+ years!

    ALICIA DECKER: I am so happy with the service I received from this family owned business! I came here from recommendations from the local Facebook groups and am so glad I did! I needed my platinum wedding rings resized and did not want to leave them with just anyone. They helped me immediately, sized my finger, told me the exact process to make the bands larger, and gave me the approximate price for the job. Even better, they gave me a 7-10 day turnaround. Well, in just 7 days flat (and on my birthday to boot), they had my rings ready and looking like they did over 20 years ago! The price was exactly as quoted and was reasonable for the job, especially since they had to add platinum to all 3 rings. Will definitely be back for all my jewelry and watch needs!
