2 /5 Kassidy W: Originally went in and spoke with Eva and she was very kind and knowledgeable. She gave us three quotes for a house I am buying. We received 4 other quotes from other insurance agencies all around the same price but decided to go with Sebring insurance because of our recommendations from friends. We then received some very weird calls from someone names Alia (Could be spelled different). She said she could not find the quotes we were talking about and she had no info from our Loan company and then proceeded to tell my fiancé that the insurance was now $400 more than quoted and that the only way she could give us a discount was if our drivers license had the address of the home we have not even purchased or lived in. We called our loan company to tell them not to go though with them and we would choose someone else. We called back and spoke with a young man and he pulled right up our original estimate and said he could see all the paperwork from of loan company. The next day Alia called again and said the reason it was higher was because Eva messed some stuff up and that was just the new price. We already decided to go with another company that has already locked us in on the price similar the the original price we were given from Sebring. I am not sure if Alia just did not know what she was doing or if we were getting scammed. Obviously, people make mistakes but it pushed back our closing date and made things so much more complicated. Not a great experience.
