I am not a trusting person and feel like "reviews" cant be trusted, that they were either paid for or computer generated. For this reason, Ive been sitting on old coins and jewelry because I didnt want to have to deal with selling ... comparing it to buying a car from the dealership (if you catch my drift). Tony is extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy and friendly. So if you have expectations (or not), I can say with absolute certainty that you will be treated fairly and courteously. ashley lin: Let me start by saying that John is a very nice guy. He is attentive, kind, and does make an effort to listen to your wishes. I think he makes fine jewelry in his own style; however, if you are seeking a custom ring with anything beyond the normal (pointed prongs, unique setting), I would advise you check out other places. My fiancé took our diamonds to John Charles who walked us through a customization process. We wanted a 3 stone, trellis setting. John assured us the timeline and design was no problem at all and did communicate with us during the entire process. Once my fiancé got the ring back we immediately noticed issues. Primarily an entire prong on the trellis was broken, stones were loose, prongs were not touching, and many thin sections from improper setting which made the rings structural integrity bad (see pictures). John of course took the ring back to repair. On top of the actual issues with the setting the ring size was entirely too large. When we went back the second time, we walked through all the issues with John, who again was very kind and listened, we emphasized that the ring needed to be resized and even used his ring sizer to get the right size. 2 whole months later we finally have the ring back in possession. It is the same size it was when we took it in, literally not changed at all. While this time there are no loose stones there are still prongs which do not touch the ring. I want to emphasize that John is a great person, who I am sure is great with traditional settings but if you are looking for something custom, make sure you know what you’re looking for and be prepared to be patient and double check every step of the way.

Fast forward to 2023, that pendant is still beautiful and in excellent condition. I have become a huge fan of Larimar and Argento has an absolutely amazing selection of this beautiful stone! I cant say enough good things about the store, the lovely ladies who work there and the precious puppy that greets all customers ❤️ If youre a local, a visitor or a snowbird, and youre in downtown Stuart, make sure to stop in and do a little shopping. I really needed the repairs done same day. Todds work is superior; and, Dinah and her staff are cordial and customer centric. This jeweler provides good value and good customer service. I recommend them. 9/27/16 I continue to patronize this shop for repairs and service. They are top notch...easy to work with, their prices are fair, and they provide excellent value. You can trust them with you most valuable jewelry. I highly recommend them.

Lucie Kleinman: BUYER BE WARE! Brought two pieces in to have clasps repaired, replaced or secured. I had not worn them in a while and just wanted to sure it was safe to start wearing without fear of a laps failing. I was told they would need to be replaced. One for a a gold bracelet the other a non gold chain. I was charged $95 for one and $65 for the other. When I asked why so much I was told “because gold is expensive”. When I asked for my original clasps to be returned, given the high price of gold I figured I may as well collect my property, I was told I would be charged more as it was a given that I had “traded” my old clasp for the new. I was stunned, but said I’d buy back my old clasp anyway. I suspected they would not be able to produce it as it had not been changed. I was charged $11.00 for an old “gold” clasp. So, basically the part was $11.00 and I paid $84 plus tax for labor (to attach clasp to chain.) The returned clasp was not my original clasp. It was much larger, broken and a different shape and color. And my bracelet had the same old clasp I had for years, it had not in fact been replaced. The “new “ claps was visibly worn and scratched. It was not replaced as the owner indicated and the charge reflected.by I was honestly too stunned by the brazen thievery to articulate my concerns. This place is 100% a rip off. What a miserable way to steal from trusting customer. The entire experience left me wondering if I’d ever be able to trust a jeweler ever again. Do not make the same mistake. Find another jeweler.
