5 /5 Claire WithLove: We stayed at the Riverside hotel, and my husband read the reviews about how the good the gym was and was looking forward to working out. Located upstairs, the gym has floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the river. The air smelled clean as did the locker and shower rooms. There were plenty of towels to use and water plus some other drinks you could buy. There was a variety of free weights and kettle bells. A separate room for the weight machines. I had come just to look and then go to the pool, but I ended up doing the entire circuit of weight machines and felt it was a good workout.

5 /5 William Bly: Great gym. Im here on vacation and of course the hotel gym is a POS. I found this gym online and figured Id give it a shot as its only an 11 minute walk from my hotel. TG for real gyms. Everyone there is there to WO. Small but good selection of free weights and machines. DBs, KBs, free weights, concept 2 rowers, treadmills, etc. Everything you need to do a serious workout.

I enjoyed working out there for the time that I was in town and the views were spectacular. They have everything you need including a sauna towels, showers, free weights, kettle bells everything I needed for workouts congratulations for putting such a great facility together Geoff.

Danielle Saxe: This is the best gym I’ve been to in Fort Lauderdale. All of the equipment feels brand new and well maintained, which makes every workout even better. The classes are challenging in the best way — they push you but are still approachable for all levels. All of the coaches are incredible: knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping you reach your goals. My favorite classes are with Andrada, Dre, and Jakub. Easily the best gym experience I’ve ever had!

Mary Wright: First, let me start with the positive. The best thing about this gym is Isaac who welcomes everybody with a smile at 5 AM on weekdays. Isaac deserves a raise or promotion! Also, the regulars who workout early are super nice. I lived next-door for two years so it was very convenient to work out here. The reason why I’m switching gyms is that I want to be able to work out earlier on the weekends.Opening at 8 AM on weekends is too late. I prefer to be able to work out as early as 6 AM (or even earlier) just to avoid busy crowds and people keeping machines and benches occupied while on their phone or videoing themselves (super annoying). Another thing is that this gym gets way (!!) too busy outside of the early weekday time slots… I want be able to go in and out without having to wait a ridiculous amount of time before I can use certain machines or search for dumbbells because a lot of people just leave those in random spots throughout the gym. More staff to supervise equipment etc. would also be an improvement. I recently moved and switched to a very clean 24-hr (yay!) gym with a ton of new equipment and all kinds of amenities for significantly less than what we paid at LA Fitness. The fact that I can go in anytime of the day is really an added bonus. I will miss my gym buddies, but LA Fitness needs to step it up to keep up with the competition.

When I was recovering from an illness, he was amazing about adjusting the workouts and being flexible with scheduling. That level of care and professionalism really stood out. If you’re looking for someone who knows his stuff, keeps you motivated, and still gets results, reach out to Lorenzo. You’ll actually look forward to your workouts—he’s that good!

Jarret Willey: I joined a month and a half ago and was going every day. At first, I enjoyed it. The first incident I had to wait for one of the trainers who is videoing herself on one of the stations that I normally use and I had to wait 20 minutes before her she was finished and they said well she’s a trainer. And then two days ago I went in and one of the trainers came over to me and he said you’re outer has been a little off when you came in here and it made me not wanna go back in ever I want to punch the Trainer in his face, but I held restraint and I walked out I told the manager and I have not heard anything back from them so I don’t know if I’ll go back. Maybe I just need to cancel my membership.

Anonymous: I’ve been a member at YouFit for some time and generally enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff—until my recent encounter with an employee named Matt completely ruined my experience. On October 26, 2025, at around 6:50 PM, as I was finishing my final set of the evening, Matt approached me with an astonishingly rude and condescending attitude about the gym closing at 7 PM. His tone was not just firm but outright hostile, making me feel like an inconvenience for simply using the facility during its operating hours. His behavior was uncalled for and left me feeling rushed, disrespected, and unwelcome in a place that’s supposed to be supportive and encouraging. To make matters worse, I observed Matt treating other members with the same abrasive demeanor, barking at them to leave as closing time approached. This wasn’t a one-off incident but a clear pattern of unprofessional conduct that created a tense and hostile environment for everyone in the gym. It’s disheartening to see one employee single-handedly undermine the positive vibe that YouFit typically fosters. Other staff members I’ve interacted with have been courteous, helpful, and professional, which makes Matt’s behavior stand out even more as a glaring issue. This experience has seriously made me question whether I want to continue my membership at YouFit. A gym should be a place where members feel motivated and respected, not belittled or hurried out the door. I strongly urge management to address Matt’s conduct and provide him with training on customer service and professionalism. If this issue persists, I’ll have no choice but to take my business to another gym that prioritizes a consistently positive experience for its members. YouFit has the potential to be great, but employees like Matt are a detriment to its reputation.
