He was running a special and even gave me the same price for my second oil change. I have been going there ever since and I am always happily greeted by either Mike (the owner), his lovely wife/partner, or employees. Grease Monkey Auto Repair & Transmission is the definition of a small mom&pop shop with exceptional service! I recently was in an accident and even though Grease Monkey Auto Repair isn’t a body shop, Mike (owner) still offered to do the repairs. He assured me he has done many insurance claims and that he works with a body mechanic that handles all his body work request and I would get top of the line repairs. He was 100% spot on. Being a female and not being very educated on cars and operations of that industry, I have always felt nervous to agree and hope I won’t be taken advantage of (because I definitely have been). I never felt that when he told me he could take care of my car. He knows I have a small child and he knew how important it was to me to have a vehicle that was put back together correctly to insure mine and my daughter’s safety. Not trying to be cheesy but I truly trusted him and took his word and left in confidence that my vehicle would be taken care of. He kept in touch with updates and gave me back my vehicle looking like nothing had happened. Coloring matching the paint so spot on you wouldn’t know unless told. Him and his wife gave unbelievable service as well as the employees that have helped me over the last two years! You may even be greeted by their cute daughter and dog who are there time to time! Dilayla I gave them a shot based on reviews and I’m so glad I did! They checked everything in front of me, explained the job, and gave me a fair price. They installed an a/c compressor, replaced engine valve cover and changed the oil. I can honestly say they put love into their job which I never thought I’d ever say about a mechanic! Daniela Pytleski Expensive and doesn’t do a good job. My dad took his car in. They charged him $1,200 for replacing transmission sensor and a few months later the car broke down again. We had hooked the car to a computer which said that same sensor was failing so we took it back to this shop because the labor had “warranty” but this mechanic said no, that it was actually something else and charged my dad another $800 then not even a month later the car broke down again!!! so this time we took it somewhere else and the new mechanic said that some belt and other parts were messed up. He said it looked like they were intentional messed up by whoever looked at the car last. Never going back there.

Sandwishmaker Starhawk not recomnended. the cars i have brought there come out with interior full of grease marks. things go missing from car. and the previous vehicle i brought there was diagnosed with a bad rack and pinion and it turned out it was just missing a screw. the owner is also willing to course or fight with customers over peti cash.

Carlos been in business for over 30 years and has the reputation of being the most knowledgeable and honest mechanic around always trying to save the customer money. He is very busy so I suggest making an appointment first then just dropping it off unannounced, but once you do its guaranteed you will received your vehicle back in record time due to his knowledge and state of the art equipment.

Brad Carlos is a class gentleman. I took my car there for a repair he could easily do but said it would not be worth it because of other issues that he diagnosed and found that type of honesty you don’t see or hear about too much anymore. He’s a class gentleman, and I will gladly give this five stars even though I wasn’t able to use his services. I would highly recommend this automotive repair shop.

Bill and JC go above and beyond to be welcoming and go out of their way to be sure you are apprised of the issue, the cost and then the follow up when the work is complete. James Absolute SCAM!!! My car didn’t start and I brought it here since I had my starter replaced a few months ago here. Mario said my alternator and battery are bad and I need new ones. Sent me a quote of over $1600!! I called and asked if only the battery can be replaced he got loud and defensive and told me no. I got another quote from another company for $900 for the work and asked Mario to match that but he declined. I went to another mechanic who checked it out and said the alternator is perfectly fine it’s only the battery!!!! Changed the battery in 30 min and charged way less. Not only was he upcharging me he wanted to charge for something I did not need! Mario is a lying scammer and he’s a shady businessman. Shame!
