PAUL RITZ On my visit here in June 2024, I had good service and good food. My order was taken quickly and food was out in good time. I had asked for no seasoning on the fries, and they delivered just that. Even added some "extra" ones in a box with the meal. Dining room was clean, and plenty of space even for the 12:00 rush. This is next to the interstate interchange, so a lot of non-locals eating here.

Jessica Tamlyn Since they moved and the remodel it feels like a completely new restaurant and the best Mexican restaurant in town by far! Our waitress Jessica was phenomenal. She was patient with us and explained a few pieces of the menu so we knew exactly what we were ordering. 10/10 experience and we will definitely be back!

Courtney Shay Just had a lovely experience at Milly’s! Lunch is cafeteria style, which is perfect for our rainy road trip with our dogs where we don’t want to be stuck eating on a patio and we don’t want to leave them in the car while we eat inside. Fried chicken moist and juicy, fried okra truly some of the best I’ve ever had and RIGHT out of the fryer. Nothing was greasy. Chicken sausage gumbo was super tender and authentic, and clearly made with fresh vegetables. Sides were all winners….collards, butter beans were my favorite. The only critique I have that isn’t really a critique is that the side needed a bit of added salt and hot sauce (add their homemade pepper vinegar) but I enjoyed being able to salt to my preference. Service is exactly what you want from a Southern restaurant! The gentleman running the cash register was so sweet, and when I forgot to order my coffee and came back to get one, he gave me a to-go cup and refused to let me pay for the coffee. Very sweet gesture and I wish I could eat here weekly! Our total bill for two meals (large protein + 2 sides and an extra side of okra) came out to $26. This would be double the price in Saint Pete. We ate our food next to the lake while admiring all of the beautifully decorated (it’s Christmas time) southern-style homes around the lake. Defuniak Springs was just a 30-minute stop on our road trip home to St Pete, but after our experience at Milly’s, we are already planning to come back to spend a full weekend here. Thanks Milly’s!

Andrew Farmer Chick fil A in DeFuniak Springs is a clutch stop when you are on the road and need something fast and reliable. They are open early which makes it perfect for getting out of town without skipping breakfast. The coffee is genuinely great and hits the spot first thing in the morning. The chicken is exactly what you expect from Chick fil A fresh hot and consistently good every single time. What really stands out is the staff. Friendly efficient and welcoming even early in the day which says a lot. If you are passing through DeFuniak Springs or live nearby this location delivers great food great coffee and excellent service every visit.

Rebecca Spaulding My hubby and I love this Hawaiian Chicken pizza that we get and its always very good, could use a few more toppings such as more pineapple, especially for the price, $19.36 for just a medium. Very tasty though!

foxtail4u Yasmin was our waitress and she was excellent. Good food, Good service, Friendly atmosphere and a clean place to eat. The food is huge so when you order you should be able to share it with an extra person. . Best guacamole ive ever had. So far the best salsa ive ever had too. The cheese dip was awesome.

Angela Deckard Great local restaurant! Daily specials, reasonably priced. We were there on Sunday. Special was buffet style. You only get 1 pass, but portions were large! Choice of 1 meat, & 3 sides. Included tea or coffee. Sunday is extremely busy!! Only complaint was that they have a credit card charge, which was approximately 6.5 %, which I thought was a little excessive.

warren whittington I typically take my family here on Wednesdays for their weekly special. But on this particular night (7/13/25), we called to place an order, and we and were told they didn’t have any pizza sauce. Say what !?!? But still… always a good experience eating here.

Charles W. A nice little place off the beaten path. A friend who lives in the Florida Panhandle area likes coming here and brought me. Its been family run, probably since it opened way back. We both got the fried catfish and it was great. Id absolutely go back.

Israe Rodriguez I work for Amazon and i decided to come in after my route. Kaitlyn and a young gentleman were managing the store, to say the least great job to them and the team. I ordered a patty melt with an extra patty with avocado and jalapeño on a brioche bun and it’s by far the best burger I’ve had from Whataburger. If somebody told me that the burgers were cooked on a golden grill that sings opera when you cook on it, I’d absolutely believe it. What an outstanding location, this will be my usual.

Bowling Jeremy I stopped by here yearly when I stop by the Christmas markets and Im never disappointed. The place is spacious and always clean. You could probably eat off the floor in the place its so clean. The staff is always smiling and friendly as well. I love stopping here for a quick snack. The outdoor seating is always so relaxing too.

Greg Kimball i recently visited Sweet Southern Comfort restaurant at 756 Baldwin Ave, in Defuniak Springs, FL. I entered this beautifully decorated restaurant and was promptly greeted and I chose a seat at the bar counter. The same person was also my server and took care of my drink and food order without a problem. I ordered the black and blue burger and enjoyed the slaw as part of the burger. Based on the crowd there, its the place to go!
