Simply Good BBQ - Defuniak Springs (FL)

5 /5 Charles W.: A nice little place off the beaten path. A friend who lives in the Florida Panhandle area likes coming here and brought me. Its been family run, probably since it opened way back. We both got the fried catfish and it was great. Id absolutely go back.

5 /5 k beard: Great little local place. *BIKERS-dirt parking lot. Just FYI. *LADIES-clean bathrooms! The fried chicken & okra seemed to be breaded in-house. Sawmill gravy was good. The mashed potatoes are REAL potatoes. Pulled pork sandwich is BIG and delicious. BBQ beans and fries are good. We will definitely stop by next time we are in the area!

5 /5 Daisy Jon: Brisket, ribs, beans, and bread greens are all delicious! Happy and friendly staff. Easy access to the highway. Sadly, I saw a table that left a mess behind and did not even tip. I get it. Not everyone wants to tip, but I feel their service deserves it! Simple, lay back location full of excellent food and great service! Plenty of parking, bobtail parking. We drive a semi truck. We dropped the trailer a Loves to go pick up our food.

5 /5 Bryan Wright: I was in town for the week and wanted some "authentic southern BBQ". I was so happy with what I got. First lets start with the atmosphere which is exactly the type of southern bbq pit stop I wanted here. No frills, no fancy anything, just good food. The lady at the counter couldnt have been more friendly, along with the server. They have self-serve drinks and the sweet tea was awesome. Then my food arrived and good lord was it good. I got the 5 meat sampler (though they were out of brisket that day). I knew the food was fantastic when I started praising the chicken and I dont even like chicken. Everything was cooked so well and so flavorfully. I got the fried corn as a side and it was really good as well. I would eat here every week if I was local. LOVED IT

5 /5 Rachel Danis: Such a cute little restaurant. Food was delicious and came out fast. Service was excellent! Prices are great. I went here with four others who thought the same thing. This place is a gem, definitely dont pass it up!
