3 /5 E M (ME): ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Altha Diner – Room to Improve We stopped in on a Saturday for breakfast, hoping for that small-town charm. The homemade biscuit definitely delivered—flaky, warm, and delicious. Unfortunately, that was the highlight. The food overall was average—nothing bad, just nothing memorable. What really dragged the experience down were the conditions. The bathroom was filthy and looked neglected, and the AC vents inside the dining room were covered in grime. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when you’re looking around and wondering about the cleanliness behind the scenes. Giving it 3 stars solely because of the biscuit. Otherwise, it would’ve been a 2-star stop.

4 /5 Kevin King: Wonderful small town diner appearance, with great food and plenty of it. When you come here, and youre a regular or live in Altha, you will get some of the friendiest customer service. However, if you live 20 minutes away, you will NOT receive the same welcome. I paid under $40 for 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and 2 sweet teas. If the hospitality and customer service was better, I would have given 5 stars.

And the people who work there are just the friendliest and always make you feel welcome. Its definitely a place where you can relax and enjoy yourself. Im already planning my next visit!

4 /5 bigpaulystpete321: Decent food . Way better than fast food. The head waitress was by herself and running her tail off. And still got the orders correct nice job. We made the detour from I-10. To avoid fast food. Happy we did. The trash plate. And pancakes n sausage
