3 /5 E M (ME): ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Altha Diner – Room to Improve
We stopped in on a Saturday for breakfast, hoping for that small-town charm. The homemade biscuit definitely delivered—flaky, warm, and delicious. Unfortunately, that was the highlight.
The food overall was average—nothing bad, just nothing memorable. What really dragged the experience down were the conditions. The bathroom was filthy and looked neglected, and the AC vents inside the dining room were covered in grime. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when you’re looking around and wondering about the cleanliness behind the scenes.
Giving it 3 stars solely because of the biscuit. Otherwise, it would’ve been a 2-star stop.
