The menu leans into what’s harvested on site and sourced locally, with seasonal salads, hearty mains, and elevated classics that highlight the farm’s produce and pasture-raised ingredients. Many reviewers praise the freshness and flavor of dishes like quiche, seafood gumbo, and specialty salads, and the high overall ratings (about 4.7/5 across hundreds of reviewers) reflect a strong consensus of delight.
Service here tends to be warm and personal, with the owners often greeting guests and staff striving to make each visit special. The ambiance is rustic yet refined—perfect for brunch, lunch, or a leisurely dinner—and its appeal extends beyond just a meal to something more memorable and heartfelt.
While a few diners note that the location is somewhat off the beaten path and that prices can be on the higher side, most agree it’s well worth the journey for the unique farm-fresh experience.
I have only been here once and had the ribeye steak and eggs. I only gave 4 stars for food because the steak seemed more like a sirloin instead of ribeye. It was tough and chewie with no marbling.
