4 /5 Mark Owen: The atmosphere was very bright and engaging. It is in a strip mall by a Walmart grocery so you can miss it if you don’t look closely. Take the time to find it. The chips and salsa were good. Great texture in the chips and they were warmed up. The salsas were homemade and spicy. I had the Sopes al pastor which were sweet but not candy sweet. The blend of savoury and sweet was just what you want in all pastor. They came three to an order. The mole sauce was pretty good. Not too sweet but I think it lacked a little depth. The beer is cold and the drinks look good too. The service was excellent although it was close to closing and we were the only ones there. They had a few options for the Mexican candies so I grabbed a few spicy suckers…I would rate this as a little upscale Mexican food. The prices were appropriate for the fare. Better than many other places I e been. I would compare this to Doña Raquel in pompano. They have the typical Mexican food and many specialty options so everyone should be happy.
