4 /5 Austin Vodrazka: The food here was incredible. Seriously, everything came out super fast, fresh, and full of flavor. For our first time visiting Casa Tua Cucina Brickell, the food alone made it feel like a great pick. The atmosphere was also really nice, clean, modern, and busy in a good way. If this review were only about the food and the environment, it would be an easy 5 stars.
The part that unfortunately brought the experience down was our server, Ginna P. She was hands-down one of the most disconnected and uninterested servers I’ve ever had. From the moment she greeted us, she seemed annoyed, lifeless, and honestly like she didn’t want to be there. After taking our order, she never came back to the table, not once. No check-ins, no refills, nothing. We literally had to figure out how to pay on our own because she disappeared completely.
What makes it worse is that they automatically add an 18% tip, which basically guarantees the servers get paid no matter the level of service they give. And with service like this, it feels frustrating to be forced to tip someone who didn’t do their job at all. It really took away from what was otherwise a great first visit.
Overall, the food and atmosphere were amazing, and I actually would come back, just not if Ginna P is the server again. She completely ruined the service side of the experience, which is really disappointing given how good everything else was.
