5 /5 Timmy Mac: Finally got to eat at Cattlemens Real Pit Bar-BQ and it was awesome! I had the 1/2 white chicken with baked beans & broccoli & cheese bites. I planned on taking half home, but I couldn’t stop eating. lol They’re located on St John’s Ave next to Dairy Queen.

The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the food is nothing short of incredible. We tried the loaded fries, and they were next-level—piled high with tender pulled pork, smothered in melted cheese, and seasoned to perfection. It was a hearty, flavorful dish that perfectly showcased their pit-smoked BBQ. The pulled pork was juicy and delicious, with just the right amount of smokiness. The sides were just as impressive—especially the baked beans and creamy coleslaw. This spot truly nails that real pit BBQ flavor. We give Cattlemen’s Real Pit Bar-B-Q a full 5 stars and can’t wait to come back for more!

5 /5 Chris Gent: I had lunch today with a friend at Cattlemens Real Pit Bar-BQ, located at 816 St. John’s Avenue in Palatka, right next door to Dairy Queen. We both ordered the Cattlemens Boss Burger—two cheesy sliders topped with pulled pork and dressed with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, and their signature house sauce. The menu features a variety of sandwiches, salads, and rice bowls, along with all your favorite sides: French fries, baked beans, coleslaw, mac and cheese, corn on the cob, fried mushrooms, and corn nuggets. Highly recommend for barbecue lovers looking for hearty portions and great flavor!

5 /5 Gabriel Herrera: Cattleman’s BBQ in Palatka, FL is outstanding. I ordered The Duval and every bite was perfect. The pork was tender and flavorful, the slaw was fresh and balanced, and the toast it was served on tied everything together perfectly. The housemade sauces were incredible and really took it to the next level. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food here. Easily a must stop for great barbecue.
