Cove Kitchen + Bar - Clearwater (FL)

5 /5 Sonya L.: (If you don’t read this whole review, just know to go and ask for Gianna!) Cove Kitchen & Bar was on my radar this vaycay and thankfully we got there on the last night of our trip! All over excellent and I highly recommend them! Located right on the beach you have the option of indoor or outdoor seating. Because the weather was a little cool we sat inside and it Is upscale but trendy. We ordered a surf-n-turf combination of sea bass and ribeye to split….YUM. It was a ‘savor every bite’, ‘I don’t want this meal to end’ kind of experience! But even though the food is worth the trip, our server, Gianna, was the frosting and the sprinkles! What an Excellent server with a smile that actually reaches her eyes, who makes you know that she truly enjoys making other people happy. I hope they know what a genuine gem they have in her! Trust me, ask for her section, you won’t regret it.

2 /5 Jennifer H: We were very excited to come after a friend recommended this to us for our birthdays. Appetizers took a very long time to arrive (30+ minutes). Bruschetta - bread was burnt. Dinner order wasnt taken until AFTER we finished our appetizers. Another 10 minutes after we ordered dinner, the manager came to let us know that they were out of lobster cannolinni, but that they could have it easy for us if we wanted to wait 40 minutes for dinner. My friend opted for something else. It still took 35-40 minutes for our food to be delivered to our table, and when it arrived, the fries were cold. The burger was actually delicious, as were the fries once we got got ones; which is the only reason that Im giving them a 2 for food. I believe our waitress was doing the best she could, given that she had 2 large tables, and they got us a heater when we needed it. I wont return. Very disappointing experience for our birthday dinner. On the plus side, the sunset view was amazing.

5 /5 Victoria Vessey: I really enjoyed my meal here! The cod fish and filet mignon were both excellent — cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The sea bass had a bit of a fishy taste, which is normal for that type of fish, but it just wasn’t my favorite. The crispy fried calamari was amazing — huge pieces and cooked just right! The servers were very nice and great with kids, which made the experience even better. Only downside is food took almost an hour to arrive, also if you did not have a resevation and want to sit at the patio expect another 45mins to sit. Otherwise, everything was fantastic!

5 /5 MIAngel K: We had a party of 8. Server Renee was very prompt in attending to us. She was quick for service and answered or questions quickly. The food was served promptly and it was good. Everyone enjoyed what was ordered. They have the ability to server bigger parties and a bar area as well. It was a great place to enjoy a Sunday brunch. The restaurant is clean and well set up. Definitely a place we all plan to go to again. Reasonable pricing on the food and drinks! Enjoy a great view overlooking the water!

5 /5 Megan Cochi: This is our first time visiting this area and we highly recommend coming to the Cove for breakfast/brunch. We were able to get a table right next to the water and the views were stunning. Renee was our server and she was amazing!! Attentive, warm personality, and very friendly. We bonded over our love for the Buffalo Bills as we are from Buffalo NY. When we come for our next vacation to this area, we will be returning here for sure!
